i am getting a STOP: c000026c {Unable to Load Device Driver} \SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\Ks. sys device driver could not be loaded Error Status was 0xc000012f when 2000 boots up. 2000 crashed while instaling modem voice drivers.

Okay, this is at people who have a problem and rattle that off and then expect a fix w/o leaving their hardware specs. HOW HARD IS IT TO LIST THE DAMN SPECS?!!!!!.

AFter writing something and then loosing it. . . I wish people knew what they were talking about!!! Windows has always had the default codec limited to 56kbps. What MS is doing with XP is not new, in fact it has ALWAYS been that way.

when im playing mp3's i cant hear any other kind of sound on my computer it says sound card in use. . . . for instance icq's oh oh msg i dont hear it cuz im listening to mp3's it takes the sound card in use thing.

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to change the netowrk computer name for different hardware profiles under Windows NT4, so that depending on which profile I choose at the startup I appear with a different computer name in the network.

Can't shut down win2k

I can't shut down Win2k properly. Everytime I try to restart or shutdown (or even log off admin) the process devldr. exe comes up and cannot shut itself off. When I hit end now, nothing happens. Can't shutdown, restart, log off, etc.

I dont want to use the 1. 07 drivers for 98 cause one of my games wont work on 98 SE it nascar revolution and it hink its got to do with the drivers of my video card cause it worked before. and i even tried Direct X 6.

I jstu recently got myself a SB Live Value adn thought, GREAT now I can enjoy better sound in my games and such. For the most part, this is true, but UT gives me the shits! Sound works fine; most of it.

Just did a fresh install of Win2k Pro, and I'm wondering what's the latest word on the new(er) VIA 4. 29 driver set? Should I install all four drivers? Only some of them? Any help would be appreciated, I'm using Abit's VP6.

One of the last game-compatibility hurdles for W2K seems to be VESA for Dos-SVGA-games (sound and VGA are no problem). I tried tryvesa, but it didn´t work for me. Is there another program or a workaround for VESA on W2K?.

It finally runs on W2K thanks to QFIXAPP2. 0! I chose the Win98 Layer, didnt´t change the preselected fixes and started the linked nfs. exe! Yeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaa!.

Shuts Down Everytime a Media File is Played

Dunno what it is. Everytime I try and play a Mpeg file the computer just shutsdown. I thought it may be a driver issue but tried quite a few different drivers and still nothin. Anyone else havin this prob.
