Well, I just picked up Serious Sam today. Wow! If you like to shoot things, this is THE game to get. Apparently, its got a new engine to it, the Serious engine. Anandtech has been raving about this game.

CDROM Not Working in Winnt 4.

My current installation of Winnt 4. 0 for Workstation does not detect my CD Rom Drive. NTDETECT does not attempt to load CDROM. SYS. It is detected by the BIOS and works fine in Win95 (As this is a dual boot PC).

In games like : Black & White and Delta Force 3, I can only select Primary Display Driver, and not my voodoo 2. My primary display driver is : S3 Virge/DX screen card. My Secondary Display driver should be VooDoo2.

Dont have proper encryption level for remote connection??

I try to access my computer at home from a computer here at work and when i try I get Quote:you do not have the proper encryption level for this session. both computers are running build 2465. Anyone know what to do i didnt run across this answer in the great 'Help Center' that winXP provides.

WinXp installation and LS120 drives

Has anyone here successfully installed windowsXP using the LS120 as their A drive? I know the drive works fine, since i am currently using it in Win2000, but when I tried to install WinXP it told me that it didn't detect a floppy drive.

restoring win2k from within win98?????

last resort anyone know how i can get win98 to open a. bfk backup file from win2k. . . as i cant get it to open it atm. . and wondered if there is a proggy i can download so i can open it and restore my system32 folder in win2k James.

Cakewalk Sonar 1.0 problems

I'm running Cakewalk Sonar 1. 0 on Dual P3 1Ghz, ASUS CUV4X-D mobo, 512mb RAM, and a SBLive! Platinum 5. 1 and I keep getting frequent lock ups when exiting the program after working on a very large audio project (about 800megs).

help me pleaseeeeeeee i have a ms intelliexplorer mouse. . i changed it to a logitech mouseman mouse coz the explorer mouse naffed up. . then i got a new ms explorer mouse and swapped back. . and then the mouse wouldnt work!!! no pointer.

Getting a mail server to work

Sometime I really feel like an idiot. . . I managed to install W2K Server, got DNS up and running (so it appears anyway) but I'm completely at a loss trying to get mail setup. . . no mailboxes, no working smtp, no pop3 server.
