Beta drivers and a BIOS revision for the ultra-66 problem are available on thresh's firing squad page. These drivers reportedly work on beta-3 and rc1. Makes that wd expert seems even more attractive, now doesn't it?.

Joystick with MX300 and bld 2072

The sound works great, but I still have no joystick support. I see there are new drivers, but will these get my joystick to work? I'd hate to screw up my audio if the new drivers won't fix my problem.

Anybody got that to work with Glide. I have Direct3D but no Glide. I tried installing the drivers with the new. inf file but still no luck. Starsiege Tribes won't detect Glide and neither will Descent 3.

ok guys, im not a newbie to computers, but am a newbie to NT (win2k). Lets start off with the basics: 1. I would like to keep win98 installed. can i partition my drive into a c: and d: and stick 98 on c: and 2k on d ;( if so, how do i choose which OS to boot to on startup? 2.

Help! Problem with Vortex 1 sound & NT4

I just can't seem to install the NT4 drivers for my Diamond S90 pci sound card (Vortex 1). I'm using service pack 3, which the drivers require. After the installation routine, I recieve an error message that reads something like: Cannot load Vortex driver.

I just upgraded my nt to SP5, and now it wont go any further then the CTRL+ALT+DELETE screen at the beginning of NT, how can I rstore the old SP, or what options do I have? Iv got win 2000 RC1 and 95 runnin as well.

I have installed win2k on my machine. It didnt pick up the Maxi Gamer 3dfx card, so I used the inf file from this site to install it. However, directx does not know the 3dfx card is there so I dont have any drivers installed.

I was wondergin if someone can ***** this for me so it works under Win2K? It is Installshield based and won't install under Windows 2000 Pro RC1 (2072). I would be willing to burn and ship you a copy of the install CD if you really think you can do it.

I read in the games section that Alien vs Predator was functional under Win2k, but it isn't working right on mine ,P2-450 with an Asus tnt2 ultra. As far as I can tell, the problem is in the resolution settings, the only settings it allows me to choose from in the game are 0x0x0 and 24837x23563x8196.

Q3Test2 - SMP problems???

Has anybody had any success with SMP under Q3Test2 and Win2k? When I enabled SMP (r_smp 1) it told me to restart the program, and when I did it would just crash with a big white screen every time I tried.
