Win2000RC3 build 2183 and voodoo2

I know this has been answered many times but please help. What drivers to I need to dl to get my voodoo2 card to recognize nuder rc3 build 2183 and what procedure w=once I dl them do I need to follow? Thanks in advance.

Those changing banner adds are driving me crazy

Yes, banner adds are needed to pay for this forum and the great side. But can you please get a different one ? It changes the banner every 45 secs. When it changes the banner it removes my cursor from the message field and might put it into the subject line or somewhere else.

Partition Layout

Hi Everyone. I'm curious how everyone is planning (or has) their partition layouts. I'm from the old NT camp where we always had 3 partitions. A small FAT partition for emergency repairs, an NTFS partition for OS and a third NTFS partition for data.

HELP ME PLEASE!! Quake3 + Geforce +horrible refresh rates

I am running 2195. 3 and I have an asus v6600 deluxe The Nvidia 3. 65 win2000 drivers work good, but for some reason my refresh rates at any resolution in quake3 are stuck at a horrible 60 Hz. Win2000 RC2 2128 sudden problem

No problems for many weeks until suddenly OutLook Express, which I use as a newsreader will not start! The splash screen show, but nothing else and it doesn't show in taskMan, however to get rid of splash I must reboot and at that time, Windows asks me if I want to close OutLook Express down!?! Any help appreaciated.

Q3A / RC3 / TNT / no work !

On loading Q3A on my system (3. 64 with opengl hack from 3. 56) i can hear background menu sounds and the videos but cannot see anything - the screen remains white. Any idea how to fix this ?.

CD-r for laptop

Hi, I have a latop and I want to buy a CD-r and run Windows 2000. I know my computer can run Windows 2000, so thats not a problem! I just wanted to know if anyone have any experince with a CD-r that uses USB to connect to the computer and Windows 2000? Or maybe the HP CD-Writer Plus M820e.

can't change monitor after installing geforce

ARGH, this is driving me nutz OK, I was lucky to get me a Creative Annihilator Pro today at my local CompUSA. Installation worked like a charm, no problems (running RC2). Next I tried to switch back to my normal 1600x1200 (on my 21 Viewsonic PT813) and tried to get refresh to 85Hz.

i dont know/care if someone has posted a fix for this (not going to search for it) but i have it working with the final. what i did was install the hollywood alpha drivers (got the choppy crap) then i installed the Creative NT drivers on top of hollywood.

I have the following problem: I installed win2k RC2 build 2128 on a Quantum 13,6 KA Gb and the drivers for the ATA66 controllers (HIGHPOINT) and I update the bios for the BP6 (NJ) & ATA controller (1,21) changed the boot sequence into: EXT,C,A (EXT-means UDMA66) but windows is still comming with the message: NTLDR ...

New Voodoo 3 drivers???

I just downloaded a new driver set from Saldzer's site and what I extracted from the zip are three V3win2k files with the extensions:. roo,. ro1, and. rar. What are these and how do I use them? Also there is a zip package that will supposedly make a game think it's Win95 when installing to get past that error.

Win2k + TNT1 + D3D Problems

I have the newest release of Win2k and am having problems running D3D. I downloaded the 3. 65 drivers and running them now. I fired up UT and it runs fine but any other game that I've tried so far to run in D3D won't work (Speed Demons, Rogue Squadron, Supreme Snowboarding, etc.
