Thanks Clutch for this one: HFNetChk is a command-line tool that enables an administrator to check the patch status of all the machines in a network from a central location. The tool does this by referring to an XML database that´s constantly updated by Microsoft.

Does anyone know if and when ASUS are going to bring out drivers for XP. ASUS 1260 reference drivers wont load,crash system. Am using NVIDIA 1470 w2k drivers,which work ok but I dont usually like using non reference drivers for ASUS AGP cards as there is allways a prerormance drop due to ASUS AGP cards being slight ...

Slow browsing the Network Neighborhood

Is it just me or is XP a little bit slow browsing the computers in Network Neighborhood. Is there a way to speed up the process? Right now, when I click on View Workgroup computers in Network Neighborhood, it takes like 5-10 seconds to show the computers in my workgroup.

Hi Guys, Whenever I try to logon or after a restart, Windows XP gives me error, that my page file is not set. go to system > Advanced > Performance and set your page file custom. I did it like 10 times, but the problem is not going.

Hi Guys, I made an automated install of xp last day. It has only one account, the default Administrator Account. Every time it starts windows, it asks me for my password and there is no option for telling it to remember it.

if when using Nero to burn you have repeated buffer underruns (with burners not supporting BurnProof/JustLink), make sure you install the Adaptec ASPI driver 4. 60 build 1021 or later. The build 1017 and earlier versions have a bug that make Nero's ram buffer feature gobble up ALL your ram.
