Audigy problems!!! Snap, crackle, pop!

I uninstalled my soundblaster live and replaced it with my new Audigy OEM. Used the drivers that came on it's CD, and it installed fine. Music sounds much improved on this card (especially. mod's with 16bit samples), but I'm having serious issues.

Game Theater XP under Win XP/2K

I have a Hercules Game Theater XP and in windows XP and 2K all that comes out of it is noise. No sounds, just noise. Ive read else where on NT Compatible that its a driver prob but can be fixed if you install an nVidea GFX card.

Hi there, Ok, as u might have guessed i have BT internet with a Alcatel Speed Touch USB Modem. When the machine boots up, the modem diagnostics icon in my task bar goes green, which means everything is working fine.

Hi guys, I'm trying to find a way of playing the awesome Virtual Pool 2 in Windows 2000. I know there's a patch called setupwin95 somewhere on the net. Can't find an active link, though. Is there a site where I can definitely download it? Or is there another method? Appreciate the help.

Hi, I have a little problem with my modem connection. In my previous os which was Win Me I was able to uncheck the option responsible for registering to network (what was totally useless, because it only wasted some time) in dial-up settings, but in XP I cannot find this option.

I posted this in other since it applies to both WinXP's remote desktop and Win2k's Terminal Services. The default port is 3389 for both, and this can EASILY be changed with a little flick of the registry.

I have a BlackWidow USBScanner 648Home and will not install under windowsXP. The installer loads and says its only compatible with Win2000,98,etc can anyone help me get a driver for the scanner because i use my scanner quite a lot.

Ok, running Windows 2000. I want My Pictures gone permanently. I want My Download Files gone. I want the From ICQ folder in my IE Favorites gone. Man I freaking hate these folders and don't need them.

Someone just gave me a copy of Return Fire 2; said it was a pretty good shooter. When I attempted to load the game, it says it's unable to find some Glide file, then continues the install. When I attempt to run the game, same message, but give a choice to use Glide or software drivers.

A friend of mine has winxp installed on his notebook and the sound works ok. But after awhile the sound stops working and the in device manger the driver says hardware not functioning code 10. When u shut off the puter and turn it back on it well work but a reset doesn't.

Outlook Express and IE Problems

I was having huge problems with IE freezing my computer and Outlook Express taking 15 minutes to load and then freezing my computer. I upgraded to 6. 0. Downgraded to 5. 5. Tried a manual uninstall including cleaning the registry using the outlook express registry clean tool and reinstalling.
