How do I turn off the integrated photo viewer?

I'm much rather use ACDSee for photo viewing, printing, and resizing. I installed it but the integrated photo viewer still opens up when I double click on an image file dispite all associations linking to ACDSee.

You know when Win 2K comes up with the message: This program has generated errors. . . . . . A log file is been created????????????? Is this the fault of the program running (Due to bugs), or is it Windows 2000's fault.

Win 95/98 Broderbund Games Don't Work??

Any thoughts on getting older Broderbund games (Arthur, Cat in the Hat etc. . ) to work under 2000? My kids are going crazy. Broderbund doesn't support the games anymore. I have tried compatibility mode but the game instantly comes up and says no sound card detected.

Ok. . . So now I've made a 1gig partition and put WinME on that partition. . . it's in the root of my primary HDD. . . that's all working just fine, but now how do I get the dual boot set up? There is no choice to dual boot back into XP now.

Anyone ever heard of this: while playing the 3D Pinball game that comes with W2K, the flippers will freeze for a few seconds as I play, needless to say this causes problems in keeping the ball from falling through the middle.

Messing around in the registry, I noticed the option to ClearPageFileAtShutdown. It is set by default to 0 (no). What is the purpose of enabling this feature? Are there any performance advantages/disadvantages in doing do?.

Hi, I just reinstalled winxp to fine tune my install a little bit better. On my previous WinXP install I could update my sblive drivers, now it dosen't show up in windows update at all. This mean official drivers coming soon or what? Anyone else notice this? Sigh.

I have a ftp server with a static IP adress. I would like to have an adress for it instead of giving out my ip adress to my users. I dont care if it I dont want to use the dynamic dns services that are aroung cause the I need to run a client software on my server and I have some bad experiences of them.
