Ok here's my sob story. . . . I've got two machines, no hub or router just a flip cable. both machines now have xp installed, I can see each computer from the other one but any time i try to access one or the other my main computer locks up so tight that you have to hit the reset button.

This is a really tough one. . . . but hopefully someone can help me out or point me somewhere. One of the really cool things in Windows XP is the ability greatly customize a folder's view. Also, explorer will let you show additional properties of files, such as the bitrate, and IDv3 tag info for MP3 files.

Guys. . . im having problem wid my keyboard. I dont know why this happen. maybe you can give me hints. . my keyboard just lockup, I dont know why, it seems that my keyboard was unplug, all the LED will not lit when i check the cable, all seems perfect, i tried to unplug and plugin, still not functioning.

Need help hooking up my dreamcast to pc to share broadband

I found this document on the web that explains how you can turn your pc into a dialup server for dreamcast and share your broadband connection. You need winroute and a dial up server installed. The problem is the instructions are for windows 98.

Just wanted to share my experience with setting up a dual booting system. Windows 2000/Windows 98. I have been running windows 2000 for well over a year and really like it; but I do miss being able to play some older games now and then.

Hi all, I recently had a hard drive failure. Fortunately I have backups. However my question is - I had Outlook as a mail client. Now i have \program. . . \office\ etc backed up. But after re-installing Outlook, which files do I need to get my mail folders (there were multiple folders) back? Thanks, Steve.

Hmm. . . I have 2 hard drives, one of them (C:\) has WinXP installed on it whereas the other is just a slave where I dump downloaded files onto (D:\) now, the C:\ drive is NTFS but the D:\ drive is FAT32 - and every so often when I try to install a patch or something off of D:\ WinXP reboots, giving me no real reas ...

Are the Terminal Sevices avaliable in Windows NT 4. 0 Server? I need a little server runnig Terminal Services as in Windows 2000 Sever, so I would be able to connect to this NT machine remotely. . . And PCAnywhere, RemotelyAnywhere, VNC is not the thing I need.
