CD Burning problem in XP (help help help)

Yo everyone! I have an ACER 8*4*32 cdwriter and it works fine in Win2000. After I swtich to XP RTM 2600, I receive an error message SCSI target error at about 25% burning process from Nero Burn 5. 5 <- similar error message in Easy CD 5.

Hi, I didn't see any mention of these drivers on the NTCompatible forums (?). They were made by Hujer HoE and apparently they work great! Check it out: Also, G. O. D. 2 drivers are out, based on Hujer HoE's Plus NFX are susposed to work fine, as I believe their also based on Hujer HoE's Well, I haven't tested these ...

I've been using some CD-R software lately and I can't STAND CDRWIN, it's junk. It burns CDs fine except the fact that the data is not readable, Nero is king for me, and now that I found BINCHUNKER I can convert to ISO from BIN.

HP 970 keeps printing a cardridge alignment page.

Everytime i finish printing something my hp970cxi prints out an alignment page. . . I'm using it on windows xp professional, and it's hooked on the USB. Anyone else having this? Is it due to the drivers (i'm using the default winxp drivers) or is my printer broken? Thanks.

outlook xp contacts backup

in win9x to back up my contacts i would just backup the outlook folder in the application data directory in the windows folder, and when i reinstall windows and outlook i would just overwrite the new application data with the old one i backed up now i have installed winxp, and this method does not work.

hi, does anyone know how do you get this scsi card to work with windows XP I try installing it, but XP doesn't recognize it. I also tried installing windows 2000 drivers for it that didn't work. Does anyone know when the drivers coming out for it or any way to get it to work for XP? Thanks.

Cannot access workgroups under Win2000 Server

We have a small workgroup of 5 PCs (Pentium III) loaded with Win2000 Pro and 1 PC (Pentium IV) with Win2000 Server. Under Win2k Pro all PCs see each other but they do not see the Win2k Server and it cannot see the Win2k Pro PCs.

I tried experimenting with QuickFix and succeded in playing most of the first episode before it crashed but unfortunately did not save the fix to the database! Hi all I have a NVIDIA card with a Athlon 1300. Performance in XP is generally very good. All open GL games are very fast and most directx games work ok. My only problem is unreal and UT based games.
