Hello, I have just ordered an Abit BP6 and dual 550MHZ processors. I intend on installing NT4 Server when it arrives. I have used NT4 a few times before and have always used FAT16 for the file system.

How can I get the Encore2x (dxr2 board) work under win2k. Currently its known as an unknown device with the yellow ! over it. Is there any way I can view my DVDs? Psi.

New Voodoo3 2000 INF

I'm just wondering if there is a big performance boost by using the new Voodoo3 2000 INF? What specifically is this D3D reghack? Right now I am using Anthony's older INF for the Voodoo3 and it is working good, so I don't want to go messing with it unless I'm going to get better performance.

OK System Shock 2 works! *note: it will not yet u install. the install will look for dx6. 1, but once install it works. Shogo plays fine. Ja2: works and installs fine. Working in NT 4. 0 (sp4+) works Bravehart: don't know about the install cause it was done in win98.

Installed a new G400 dualhead card and Descent 3. Runs soooooo slowly that it is unusable. Downloaded the D3 demo 2. It installs. On the setup page, the DirectX tab shows that DirectX version is 3. 0, on the video tab no rendering device is listed.

CD Rippers on Windows2K?

OK maybe I have some messed up hardware glitch or something, but. . . I have tried about 5 different CD rippers (to MP3) and none of them work in Digital Audio on Windows 2000. Some don't work period others have errors and switch to Analog, (which sounds like **** btw).

I have instaled V2000 release3, then the voodoo2 accelerator, but when i try to play the games in d3d mode the card is not listed, there is only my ATI card (sucks). But the games in glide mode vork.

I have recently tried to install Win2000 on my recently purchased BP6 motherboard, but to no avail. (using RC1 build of 2000) I get to the setup screen, and where it should start copying files, it just sits there with my hard drive flashing on for 5 seconds, then off for a few.

I just patch it to 1. 2. 8 Hmm for some off wall thing I can't play any movie off my DVD Drive i fact I can't even copy a file off DVD CD with out booting back into Windows98 & then copy one VOB file to harddrive, The Player dose work's but DVD drive don't Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I've been screwing around with RC1 and this Asus v3800 ultra deluxe using the asus drivers. I got everything working great except for the video capture. any hints as to what i'm doing wrong is appreciated.

Hi Everyone, I've a problem here, when I open System->Hardware->DeviceManager->DisplayAdapter->VoodooBanshee-> Resource. I do not find Any IRQ assigned to this card. . . (a CLab's Banshee PCI).
