Hi, I have a little general windows question with a reg file I know how to add entry's in the registry. Is it possible to use such a script to remove entry's ? It's quite annoying to go browsing the entire registry after every reinstall.

New Folder ?

I've always wondered why this option is not available - perhaps I've just overlooked something:- Is there a way to add a new Folder / Sub-Folder without having to highlight a Folder, then go File, New Folder ? I would like to right-click a folder and have a New Folder option.

Well, I was using Windows XP for a little while. . Then, I noticed that even when I shut down properly and booted up again, XP would say Windows needs to check this disk for consistency, and sure enough it would go about deleting some orphan files, etc.

Hi all, First post here! Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get the XPLOSIV version of Hidden and Dangerous running on Windows 2000? I can't seem to get it working properly. All is well until I choose my men and weapons, at which point it locks totally.

XP keeps finding new hardware

XP Pro finds all my hardware again every few times i turn my system on, it requires a restart and is becoming really annoying. I dont have a USB port on it and ive configured the BIOS so that everything is enabled and not on auto.

Messenger Problems

Having a slight problem with Messenger. Running XP 2600 with all the available patches on Windows Update. I'm also using Norton Pers. Firewall together with XP's firewall. Messenger is set to startup with Windows and it signs in automatically when I establish my ADSL connection.

Keyboard volume control

I have an HP keyboard with a volume control turner on the top, which works under ME,2000,XP but not under 98SE. I have tried up the keyboard drivers from the Windows ME drivers and it updates but the control still does not work.

Could someone please tell me how I can convert an 80gig hard-drive to FAT32 from NTFS, without formatting it. I have tried partition magic, but it won't allow me to convert a hard drive of that size.

This is very trivial, but annoying. Normally the background is greyish-brown. But for some reason its white now. This is getting hard on the eyes and I have looked (a bit) in WordXP's menus but, if anyone has been able to find this option.

Anyone else having problems with these in XP. Getting runtime errors with Morpheus, LimeWire 1. 8 will not install (hangs with Java), and Gnotella will not function after install. . . any suggestions to make these function?.

Hi Y'all! Just for starters, I'm an idiot. . . . . . . . . . . . . Ok, I have two computers in the household and they are both connected to a 3com network hub. When both computers had Win98SE on it, they could see each other in Network Neighborhood.
