ok right, i've searched the forum but found no post about this one : how do you change the speed of the expand in the explorer tree view. i. e. i drag a file from a directory to another, but since the target directory is under a collapsed one i have to let my cursor over it like 1 sec until it expands.

How Do You Copy Files To A Cdrw In Xp

Hi this is proberly a thick question, but I thought you could drag and drop files to a cdrw drive on WIN XP? When ever I try this it does't work. I have a ricoh 7083a cdrw drive Has anybody got any ideas what I'm doing wrong thanks TEL.

I tried the programs OEbackup 3. 0 from genie-soft, and express assist. But after a format they were unable to restore my mails Is there any other, reliable, way to backup mails??? Thanks. .

When I use word view simple graphics (boxes, lines etc. ) they appear messed up with lines or whole objects missing. I had a look at the MS knowledge base and it states that it’s a driver problem. I have got the newest video drivers 22.

Max Payne (XP) Problems!

Hey guys, I can't get Max Payne to run. With the 22. 80 drivers it froze and gave a weird screen with lines and stuff. Switched to 21. 83 and it exits to the desktop when I try to start a new game or whatever.

Nero giving CRC errors after successful burn

Hiya all. I've seen similar problems around, but no solutions. When using Nero 5. 5. 5. 1 burning large files seems to work perfectly, but when I try to copy the files back off the discs, I get a CRC error at the last 10-15 seconds of the copy process.

Hope this is not off topic. I still havent figure out how to block those pop-unders, I have try explicitly defining rules to try blocking in personal irewall such as norton but fails; seems that they have not a fixed IP address.

I have two machines, both XP, connected to a network and would like to get them both to access the internet. But Im on AOL and the built in windows effort for sharing a net connection doesnt work. I used Sambar server on Win2K but it doesnt seem to worek right on XP.

Hi, I've noticed something weird: I don't know if it's accidental but I've had three occurences of the same problem. If I have installed XP and I change the Ram in that machine the system won't boot anymore and keeps telling me that this and thus driver or dll can't be found.

Alright this is the problem. I just recently got myself a copy of windows xp (final version) The problem is that whenever I play Quake2, I have this massive packetloss and my ping is very unstable between 80 and 200.

I accidentally deleted my Administative Tools shortcut icons 8). It displays an empty tab when I go to: Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > empty. Can someone list them (the exe's) for me? That way I can find them & restore them to this folder.
