Vampire-Redemption dumps to desktop during area transition..

Right after I said it was working fine, too. It did, up to a certain point. When you get to the point where you leave Prague and go to Vienna, it dumps me to the desktop when I try and exit Prague. I installed it on my other machine (Win95), copied my savegames over, and it worked fine.

RAM Problems.

Is there a way to know, or to check if RAM is damaged?. XP hangs sometimes and I think is the RAM that is making it hang. It hangs when Im burning a CD, listening to music(had to disable all sounds), When using memory consuming applications like Director and Photoshop at the same time.

I have a friend who tried to install Windows 2000 pro. But when he puts his video display at 32 bit colour, it causes the sound to crackle while lots of video activity is going on (like Windows media player vis and games).

Has anybody successfully installed XP on this board? When i boot from cd and the setup loads it hangs when it says starting winxp. This is right before u would press f8 to accept agreement. Ive installed this version on many other pc's and it works fine.

Lately alot of my programs have stopped running correctly. I double clicked Quake3 the other day, and it gave me a message saying invalid Win32 application. So I recopied the. exe file and patched it up again and it worked.

HELP!!! Hercules GeFORCE 2 MX is under PCI MODE!?? It is supposed to be AGP. It says this under the driver properties. I have Windows XP Professional, ASUS A7V-E and AMD ATHLON. I also notice a decrease in frames per second in games.

Hi there, I have been using dreamweaver 4 ultradev with Windows XP for a while now and the tool bar becomes corrupt after clicking on it to change the font size. I have installed the latest compatibility patch and it hasnt fixed it.

Disappearing CD-ROM/CD-RW ... any solutions?

Problem: After attempting to burn a CD with nero or clonecd, my LiteOn 12x (secondary master IDE) CDRW drive disappears from Windows Explorer and My Computer. Upon rebooting, XP Pro finds new CD-ROM and asks for the XP CD to install new hardware.

Hollywood Remote Control Problems...

Did any get their Hollywood Remote Control from Sigma Designs for their Hollywood Plus card to work? For the life of me I can't get it to work. The IR port that attaches to my serial port gets recognized by my WinXP Pro as a serial mouse.
