Is it possible to sort the lists? They don't seem to be listed alphabetically. Also it would be nice to be able to filter the lists by OS. Just a thought. Thanks.

I am setting up a lan gamin in my college under NT4 (sp6). Unfortunatley the pcs are onboard 815 intel graphics and i need to improve performance. does anyone know how disable vertical sync in this chipset? other info for this chipset in tweaking it would be very helpfull.

I have Windows XP, and when I look in the control panel, I see a folder called Ouick Time 32, but when I open the folder and click on verify, I get: qt32inst. exe file not found and play32. exe file not found and view32.

NIC card suggestions

I am in the market for a new NIC. I am thinking Linksys LNE100TX, its fairly cheap and has good performance, also a Netgear FA311, anybody have good or bad opinions on these? What about a Cicero? BTW, the card must work with all versions of Windows.

does win2k/XP support higher than 60 hz refresh rates??

my desktop has a refresh of 100 Hz however ANY game of any kind has only a refresh of 60 Hz! I have tried everything including different drivers, settings, ect. There has to be a way to overcome this.

While trying to install Windows XP Pro 2600 on pimpin_228's computer we encountered problems installing. First I started by booting off the XP cd to start setup, it would load a few files and then it would get the the part where is says Starting Windows.

Hi, How can a NT4-server get scheduled to start up, e. g. each Monday morning at 07:00? And to shut down Friday evening? For shutting down there are shareware solutions available. But for starting up we can't find anything at all.

Has anyone here had any experience with trying to get a Home Version of XP to map a shared drive on the net from a Win98 system. My XP Pro system sees the Win98 system fine and maps the drive. The XP Home version can't seem to see it.
