How do I install a sound card SB on Win NT?

Hi, I just change my old system OS from Win 98 to Win NT 4. I am having problem in installing the SB sound card. The error message that I get is the port is used by another. . . . Does anybody know how to fix it? Thanks Darno.

I have installed this DOS version of the game by booting Windows 98 start-up boot disk with CD-ROM support mode and installed the game without problem. Then I try to run in on Win XP but it does not start and compatible modes causes it same result.

Just upgraded to win 2k and found my 3dfx vid drivers didnt work. Got the correct one from here and installed them. Now when I join a game it is so dark that I can barely see anything even with the gamma turned all of the way up.

Help with DOS Games Under XP - Sound

For some reason, I can't get DOS games like Master of Orion to run with sound. Previously, before I upgraded to XP, all the DOS games I had were able to run with sound under ME. I have a Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer sound card.

i have 3 computors downstairs(me, sis, dad) mine and my dads have XP and my sis have ME well anyway i cant get them to netowrk with each other i got a router that all three are connected thru(all three chare cable modem access) so i know the router works well anyway any idea tyo get the network running?

Hi, I am having a problem with my Win 2k AS system. I can access my Win 2k AS system from my Win 2k Pro but my Win 2k AS can't access my Win 2k Pro. It says that network is not accessible. I am using SMC router with dial up connection so what I do is basically just setup the workgroup the same.

You don't want msn messenger to load when you load windows xp, or start outlook express, or log into hotmail? Then go get those registry keys: I made them cuz i cannot uninstall msn messenger as i use it from time to time, but i hate when it's got a mind of it's own.

Ok i went to the voodoo website and there is voodoo for nt. Then i go to back and i find this tool thing that has DirectX8 with it. THe steps say something like install, uninstall then click on setup or something and u would get DirectX.

Need help with NT4 Terminal Server

I have 2 NT4 terminal servers and i'm suffering from the same problem on both. Server works fine for a few weeks or something like that but suddenly when i try to log on it creates a new session for me when i try to log on to my current session.

how to share internet with ICS on cable connection

I'm nto asking this for myself, but a friend has a problem to share his cable connection using the built-in win2k ICS. I told him to enable ICS on the 1st network device. But that didn't share the connection + he couldn't surf at all anymore, even after disabling ICS again.
