GForce overlay settings. I can't change them!

They're just grayed out in the Display settings. Normally I'm able to change them, e. g. when I want to adjust the light,contrast etc. on movies. And now I can't. . . help. .

Sp6a keeps screwing up!!

I have Windows NT Workstation and I'm trying to install SP6a high ecrpyted version. Each time I download all the data that is 3 MB. Then it starts downloading a 20 MB file and then it starts screwing up.

Delete program from startup

After uninstalling a program from Win NT 4 server, it keeps looking for it at startup. There's nothing in the startup programs folder, nothing in the sysedit files that refers to this program. How do I get it out of startup? Thanks.

XP prof connecting to NT40 server

Hi. Anyone had any problems connecting a XP prof box to a NT40 SP5 server? NT4. 0 is just using workgroup, no domains. DNS and Wins is OK, and I am able to ping the NT4. 0 box by IP and N/W name just fine.

How Do I Increase Buffers in XP??

I am trying to get STTNG: A Final Unity to install, and it refuses because it says I have 40 Files and 0 Buffers. It requires at least 20 Files and 20 Buffers. I edited my config. sys file to say Files=40 and Buffers=40, no go, in fact, what I do to the config file has no impact on the amount of files/buffers I have.

I'm running XP Pro with Voodoo 5. I'm trying to play Return to Castle Wolfenstein but it flickers like its going to start and then opens up a message stating Could not Load G-L subsystem. I was able to play this game for several hours before.

Which is better, Cable or DSL? The DSL service gives me 1. 5mb/128kb, unknown on cable. I was thinking DSL only because of the sharing issue. DSL is offered by Verizon and the cable from AT&T. I would appreciate any opinions.
