Today i came home from IKEA and found my Athlon XP was off, i had left it on while i was out. Upon turning it on, no Fans spun(CPU Fan, Motherboard Fan and PSU Fan). I took out everything from the case and tried it now, still nothing.

As a computer technician I've recently had to restore an NT 4. 0 Server after a hard drive crash. Unfortunately, there was no viable backup as the original installer did not verify that backups were being created.

Kodak Snapshot Photo Scanner 1

I'm assuming it is because of the recent bad blood between MS and Kodak, but Kodak does NOT intend to update the driver for this photo scanner. Yes, it is 4 years old, but has very good quality and resolution.

Well I finally took the plunge. After months of Soul searching I finally went with the COmpaq 2715US over the Dell Inspiron 8100. COmpaq had more features and the case looked a lot cooler. PLus I support the 8100's at work and they seem to have glitches, with thier mini pci cards.

This is pretty strange - I have a partition setup specifically for my pagefile, which is set to 1024mb. For some reason windows has also created another pagefile on my c: drive which doesnt show up when I go to set up pagefile usage in the system tab under control panel.

It has been a very very good experience!!!! It has not even crashed. . . . until the latest web upgrade. What is up with that? Once in awhile when I close my web browser I get the blue screen of death and it reboots.

Intel CS 110 USB webcam + Win2k?

Whenever I try to install it, it won't do a thing, it just gives The data is invalid and installs a blank USB imaging device. I have an Epox 8KHA motherboard that's using the VIA chipset for USB. I'm also using a AMD 1ghz Thunderbird and I have a Nvidia Geforce 2 GTS card, if that makes any difference at all.

mshta.exe error after Ghost imaged drive

I want to have 2 switchable, bootable drives in 2k w/SP2 & FAT32. Using SystemWorks 2002 I imaged the first drive and used sysprep. exe per M$ prior to imaging the drive. I do the image, transfer the image to the other drive go through the setup, but still get the mshta.

Hello. I just installed win 2000 pro. Yes I know it took me long enough lol. But it was hard letting go of my 4. 0 LOL Anyway I'm very happy I insalled it. My question is. I heard that SP 2 wasen't that great and they had problems with it.

I am not extremely well versed on some audio configurations, especially as far as hom theatre goes. I have an audigy and a logitech z560 setup. There are 2 connectors on the z560 that plug into the audigy repectivly.

I have been having several IRQ sharing problems in 2 different computers with Win XP Pro, and no one seems to have an answer. System #1 - P II 450, 192 RAM, 8 gig, integrated sound, Nividia TNT Video, el-cheapo ethernet, and a modem.

Previously I played Fifa 2002 on my windows 98 SE it ran smoothly, but when I play in Windows 2000 pro with Directx 8. 1 installed it came out blank white screen then it came out an error message DX7 Error Code:unknown (8007000e) FILE dx7\dx7dev.
