2 bootable drives w/ 2k

Can I have 2 bootable drives (selectable) running 2k? I use a toggle switch (DPDT) with a cut down ATA connector to fit in the 6 pin space for the master/slave jumpers. (Works great in 98SE/ME, done it with 4 other computers!).

Quantum Fireball Refuses to Function in DMA

Anyone have any ideas on how to get this working. When I try to boot Windows XP (also had the problem with Win98 and Win2k) with it connected, it take ages (I suspect trying to initialise UDMA). Then after boot up the device manager says PIO Mode and the transfer rates of the drive are 3.

I'm running WinXP Pro with a Geforce 3 Ti500 using the 23. 11 Nvidia drivers. Anyone know how to enable Fastwrites? I have it enabled in the BIOS, but when I run 3dMark2001 SE, the report says that it's supported, but disabled.

Input method editor icon on taskbar.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the input methos icon on the taksbar? I opened it up and selected properties, however the show in taskbar is grayed out. The icon is just taking up space, and when I need the other settings, I can go into the control panel.

RAID 0 in XP?

Just got another 60 gig Maxtor Ultra-133 identical to the one I have right now in my system and was wondering if I could setup a software RAID 0 with it w/o going out and buying a RAID card. I'm pretty sure Win2k supported software RAID 0, but was wondering if XP also does.

Hello. Ever since I installed that driver CD that came with my Sound Blaster Audigy card, I get this Audigy splash screen with sound during startup everytime. I've looked inside the startup folder and I don't see anything file relating to Audigy splash screen.

Is there a way to add cascading folders (submenus) to the new XP style start menu ? Preferrably to the top left area, pinned down What am I missing here ? It's so easy with the classice style, can't believe its impossible with the XP style ? H.

I just want users to know and be aware of this awfull program which is created by lamers that should not have anything to do with the internet. Gator installs itself without asking in many apps and progs, even games, and all it does is bring up pop-ups while you're surfing.
