MSI GF4 Ti4600 malfunction?

Preacher
The card is running great under Win2k, but causes problems during the installation of the OS: the first DOS part which is done in the normal DOS resolution where Setup is loading various drivers works flawlessly.

The GF4 Ti4200 is here :)

Palos
One of the first shops in Germany to list it online. . . prices for the 64MB version seem to be between €220-250 (on Ebay) and €250-290 for the 128MB. €220 ~ US$194 €290 ~ US$256 As u can see quite expensive.

Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Driver Update for Windows2000/XP

Patch
This isn't an update. These are the same drivers from the last release. - Harvey Fong of Creative confirms: They apparently read the date wrong from the Creative Labs Europe Web site. The date if 05/02/02 is in mm/dd/yy format, as commonly used in most of Europe and the rest of the world outside of North America.

SoundBlaster Live 1024

Hello, I'm trying to set up my midi equipment to work with Windows XP Pro. Everything was fine under windows 2000, but I can't say the same thing about WinXP Pro: The system correctly found my card, I went to get latest XP drivers to enable AudioHQ and downloaded latest Microsoft Update.

W2k SP2 IE6 Popup window problem

thewizard75
So I have a very interesting problem on a windows 2000 computer: Initially, with all of the latest updates, the machine worked perfectly. Then I installed the Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK, latest version) to build a custom IE6 installation for internal use.

A question of consequences

Catdog02
Here is the senario, I'm wondering if anyone can outline what problems may arise. I have two NT Domains, both share the same domain name (I don't know why) the first network has a PDC, and Two BDC's, + a handful of Win2k member servers.

Spam control

SnapperOne
A friend of mine says ***ually oriented spam was autoloading stuff onto his desktop by coming in as e-mail with 1995 or earlier creation dates, even though it was received, as an example, today. Since he views his e-mail in decending date order, the old e-mail was usually just off his screen and therefore out-of-site.

IE Pop up Security?

Denver_80203
I've heard that there are security settings in IE that will put a stop to pop-ups. I've been using Pop-up Killer for a while, but it's become flaky. . . . it's over killing (killed this page). I know I can difine more in the aplication, but this may be a better way.
