Dual Boot, help me out plz

Hi I want to make a dual boot here, but i was wondering how i'll do it here. . . I have a 40gb (C with Win XP on it. (NTFS) The second HD i want to install Windows 98 (FAT32) WinXP is already installed.

ok, i`ve installed medal of honor allied assault but i got am problem when i try to play the game. teh problem is that it asks me of being connected to internet and the game just freeze. . i've updated the game but nothing happens what can i do???.

tv tuner & sb live 5.1 line in probs

Hey all, I've got a strange problem with my SB Live 5. 1 sound card. I just bought a ATI TV Wonder VE TV Tuner card and put in my computer. The first PCI slot I put it in didn't let it work (resource conflict) but then second slot i tried worked fine.

I just ruined my Duron 700Mhz. I have a Abit KT7 and my Duron was o/C at 950MHZ. . . Some how, while I was putting the heatsink on, I managed to cracked the die 8). So I want to get a AMD Thunderbird 1.

New system, what to get?

Going to build my first sorta-kick-*** home system. Long overdue. I'm leaning Athlon XP 2100+ w/ Asus A7V266e motherboard, Volcano 7 Fan, Enermax 350 watt ps and 1G Micron PC 2100. Half assed considering one of the new 333 based chipsets with USB2.

Propellerhead Reason in Win 2k

Hey, Since i installed win2k on my machine, Reason hasnt been playing properly. I get like a half second delay when using my keyboard, and changing the buffer settings in the Reason setup has absolutely no effect on this at all.

Before error: Fresh install of Windows 2000 with SP2 and all the latest from Windows Update. Installed Office XP, and misc apps like WinZip, Antivirus etc. This was all done under administrator account.

Ok guys. Got a problem, and would appreciate some help. It's not usual that I get any problems at all, but I'm stymied by this one. . . . I just bought a USB 2. 0 PCI controller with an NEC chip on it.

What is the point of having a DVD player in your PC? ANd on top of that to have a DVD player at anything above 2x? What's the ****ing point? No one is releasing any software or games on the format.

CDROM contents not updating

In XP when in my computer or explorer my system has stopped up the contents of the cd's inserted. The ICON for the first CD inserted after a boot up is kept there and the contents list remains the same as well really frustrating!!! Any Ideas?.

Anyone got this game running on an Audigy? Sounds are kinda wierd and you gotta turn to the left or right to hear someone talking. Game runs fine other then that.

Ok guys. I have been thinking about upgrading my system. My current rig has become too slow, well, sort of. I wanna get a P4 1. 6 Northwood and probably a better video card. You could take a look at my system specs below.

Hibernation Problem

Does hibernation in XP depend on ACPI ? Can it work without ACPI enabled ? As far as I understand, unlike Standby (S3), hibernation does not have compatibility issue with video driver, because everything is simply saved to hd, and restored to the original memory location when powered on.

Hi to everyone out there, Since I changed to XP I encounter very strange error messages like: ACPI BIOS is attempting to read from an illegal IO port address (0x71), which lies in the 0x70 - 0x71 protected address range.
