how to get quicklaunch bar on NT4?

Morning guys! I just wanted to see if I FUBARed myself. I just setup a system with WinNT Workstation 4. 0 and installed IE6 right away instead of IE4. What this does is that I don't get a QuickLaunch bar beside the Start Menu button.

I use Adobe Premiere 6. 02 in Win2K. It usually runs ok uless i have more than 3 sound tracks running or multi special FX. I was wondering if there is something better out there (retail) or am I using near top level sh&t.

I am just about to buy a 15 TFT, and I want to know if it's good enough for FPS gaming. For the same price I can get me a decent 19 CRT monitor, but Im really confused. . . . help me QUICK!!!!.

My new mobo says its supports up to PC-2700 non-ECC. Im purchasing the RAM off of the newegg. com webpage. Some of the RAM say its non-ECC while others don't say anything about ECC. By not saying anything about it mean it is ECC? If i did buy one that happened to be ECC, couldn't i just disable the ECC function in ...

comp won't read cd-rws and cd-rs..

when I insert a cd-rw or cd-r with a game on it, my compaq windows 2000 won't read it when it is in and i click on the d drive in my computer it just says the disk in drive d is not formatted cd-rws and cd-rs containing music work fine dvds also work fine anyone have an idea as to what I could do?

I knew how to do this in Win98SE, but must be having a senior moment now that I'm using Win2KPro. I want to combine many of the listings found in <Start><Programs> under more general listings, so the program list isn't so long.

Clipboard Viewer Missing

My clipboard viewer has been been missing from the beginning. XP is loaded on the drive (hidden) and don't have a CD. Tried Microsoft but no luck in searching. I do have it enabled but still not showing.

Im using a Geforce3 Ti 200. I have the gamma set to how i like it on the desktop, but it doesn't make some of my games bright enuf. I've set the gamma in the game options to the highest and still isn't enuf.

what processes are required in W2K taskmanager?

I put in an HP dvd200i, and am getting errors while writing to DVD+RW disks using the included software. The software warns not to run other things in the backgroundwhich I don't. But I figure closing all but the necessary processes in the taskmanager might help.

Its been shutting down and restarting fine until today. I haven't messed with any settings or anything i know of and now all of a sudden it won't shutdown or restart automatically. the blue screen comes up saying.
