Customise display for connection properties?

Hiya On of one my machines, the connection properties for my LAN shows activity in Bytes (Netgear NIC), while on another machine, it shows activity in packets (Intel NIC). Is there any way to change this on either of them? I'd honestly prefer to see bytes rather than packets.

Hi, pff and i thought the nvidia/via infinite loop was bad enuff, this is driving me crazy! I never used to get it, it's only recently but i haven't changed or added any driver that could have done this.

Hi guys. i have a question for the board,i have cable connection,and 2 pc's 2 IP's,in the past i have always used a 10/100 HUB with seeminlgy no problems. . but in the last 4-5 months my cable provider has really put the screws on us (att)and capped us hard.

NT4 boot logging

I have a machine with nt4 server on that doesn't boot properly. How can I turn on boot logging? Does nt4 have that capability? It has nt4 server with full service pack installs. Cheers, Lee.

A Problem With PSO Running Under Windows 2000

I have a slight problem with the Jap import of PSO, for the PC. The menus (outside of the game) appear with 0s and 9s instead of letters, so it's almost impossible to work out what button I'm pressing.

Now here's a real bugger. I've tried the included Fax utility of Windows XP to see if I could send a fax with my modem (Creative Labs Modem Blaster PCI 56k), something I did seamlessly with Windows 98, WinME, and Win2k, with the help of Microsoft Mail/Outlook.

I changed from ACPI to Standard PC, only to find out that Power Management is toast. One of two things: Is there a way to get Power Management in Standard PC mode? OR Is there a way to get ACPI back without having to reinstall? Thanks.

Had a power outage on friend's machine. After outage, computer will display 2K splash screen and then before logon the monitor jumps to 120Hz and all is black. You can here it hit desktop as it plays the Windows startup wav.

Howdy, Abit M/B w/BX chipset & PIII 600 ran fine with Viper TNT Ultra and Win. XP, bought a MSI 8872 GeForce 4 Ti4600 and now UT won't run. Get big blotchy graphics, what I do see runs way slower than TNT.
