I just recently upgraded my Mitsumi 4x/4x/24x burner to an LG 32x/10x/40x burner. The first time I tried to burn a disc at 32x I got an error at 5 %, this is using Nero 5. 5. 8. 2. I tried again and burned 3 straight discs correctly and since then haven't had a problem burning.

Hi all, I was wondering if it's at all possible to get the resolution on my system down to 640 x 480, since I have a GeForce2 , even the basic MS drivers put the system to a minimum resolution of 800 x 600, and I have no access to anything lower.

Here is the problem. It is a Voodoo 3 3000G 16mb card running on Windows XP, 500mhz Pentium III, 160 mb ram. We are trying to run counter-strike with it, on Direct3d (says that opengl isn't supported) 800x600.

On the compatibility page, someone reports this MB is Windows 2000 compatible with the explanation Download Windows 2000 compatible bios. Does anyone know where I can find such a bios. The latest from FIC is no help.

Liteon DVD drive has problems reading DVDs

I've got a wierd problem with my LiteOn DVD-163 drive. It will read CDs/CDR's etc just fine. But if I put in any DVD (Matrix, etc. ) it can't read it. Acts like there's nothing in the drive. However, if I leave the DVD in the drive and reboot the system it will read it just fine and I can swap DVDs in or out.
