Question about CD-RW

I have a cdrw and now i have no more space on the cd. So i used nero and did a full physical erase on the cd. It seems that it did not clean the whole cd. When i check the medium info in nero it says only 10 megs are free.

Hullo - I have just installed Windows XP on to a Gigabyte GA-6BXD motherboard. There are technet articles relating to choosing a non-a ACPI hal, which I chose. Perhaps it was silly of me, but I now have an MPS Multiprocessor Computer system without USB or software off.

F22 Graphics problem?

I got F22 ADF to work by just by disabling the midi music. For some reason the game can't play musik and soundeffects at the same time (game returns to desktop on startup). But i can't play the game in hardware mode because there are funny lines all over the screen and software mode really sucks.

Barracud IVs Incompatibe with HPT370 RAID!

I thought I'd warn you guys that there are SERIOUS issues with the Seagate Barracuda IV hard disks and the HPT370 RAID controller. Using a RAID 0 configuration the RAID 0 will perform almost 50% SLOWER than using a single drive!!!!!! I have tested this using HPT bios and driver combos 1.

I have installed IIS 5. 1 and set it up to use d:\webserver as webserver directory. I made a testpage. html and it worked but when I changed the extension to. asp I got an 500 internal server error. Whats up with that? I thought IIS 5.

I recently migrated some DOS programs from NT 4. 0 to Win2000 Pro. When I execute them in a DOS shell, I get the following error: FCB Unavailable Suspecting the problem was due to reduced DOS support in Windows 2000/XP, I tried the same program under XP-Pro and it worked fine.

i'm currently using cjb. net's dynamic dns service. i recently switched from cable to adsl, the new isp does not give out a static ip. the problem is the adsl connection seems to always gets dropped and xp will automatically reconnect, but it keeps giving me a new ip each time.

I don’t know what’s going on with some of my DVD’s. I have looked very closely at them to find imperfections (scratches, blemishes, ect. ) without any discoveries of such, but the DVD’s still come up with message ‘can’t play due to possible scratches…’ yahda, yahda, yahda….
