Questions on moving from WINS to DNS

I need a little help with Migration from NT4 to Win2k. We have a main office which hosts the Primary and Backup Domain controllers. We also have a WAN with 6 offices that contain BDC's. Each office has a router and at the main office there is a PIX firewall between the main office and the outside world.

I have an HP and I get newsletters from them. In the newsletter I got for August it had an article about how to partition your hard drive without going out to buy an expensive program. So I figured I try it.

Hi, I have the problem that the game would not start. Installation works fine. But if I want to start the game, the CD will be start to spin and nothing else happens. Im running W2K SP2. I have also testet the compatibility Layer.

Hi Guys. I had to reinstall w2k again on one of my PC's recently here is what it was and my problem. There were 2 HDD's on it which both of them dynamic designated c and d (Dough!) and CD's Y and Z which is irrelevant.

Ok, call me retarded but personally I don't like half of these WWII FPS games and what not. I mean they are good, but do we really need the massive assault of WWII games and mods that have been coming out.

"system restored after critical error" on Asus P4B

Just got a P4B533-E to replace my P4B sdram board. . . disabled the RAID and sound (for now). . . coupled it with a stick of Samsung Pc2700 DDR. . . im running XP pro, and on every boot, i get a system restored after critical error and a report box.

Why install SP3?

It seems the general concensus is that Win2K-SP2 is pretty much bullet proof. It has been on my computer. Why install SP3 if this is the case? Isn't that just opening up a new can of worms? Opinions.

Palm will not hotsync nor will my pocketPC

I have an Epox EP-8KTA3 motherboard. And I have the latest VIA 4in1 drivers installed and also the USB filter installed. For some reason, my hotsync on my palm will work for a while, then it won't work any more.

Office 97 .pst mail file in Office XP [MS outlook]

How do I import that. pst file to outlook XP (2002) that I create in outlook 97 (not express, that outlook that comes with office). I have like 200 mails in that file, but outlook xp is very diffrent from 97, so please help me, if its possible.

Wierd Video Problem

Ok this is wierd, I have alot of movies on my HDs. I have three dvd rips that I downloaded that when I try to play them it says cannot play this type of file (they are avi's) but also when i try to play them, look at the properties etc they cause explorer.
