gl quake and that dam mouse not working

evertime I click my mouse I get thrown out of game with a glquake error, can not even bind the mouse to work, I have a ms intel mouse. The mouse does not work at all in there. HELP !!!!!! thnx. .

Is there a fix to prevent the via mvp3 putting three pci devices on the same interupt. In win98 there is a patch fo this. However a quick look in the win2000 (RC1) registry shows that PnP has DisableFirmwareWrapper enabled (1), also in PCIIrqRouting the code 0F refers to a toshiba type board.

Dual (or Triple) Boot problem!

I first installed win2k and some files were said to be not copied, so I tryed to uninstall it (it wasn't there). So I just erased it and whenever I restart my computer, I see the selection between Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional! How do I take it off?.

Someone has posted in the hardware compatability list that the G400 works under build 2031. So two questions: 1. Where do I get the bloody drivers? 2. Does it work under 2072? If someone can answer (1), I'll answer (2) myself.

Sidewinder FF Wheel in NT4 SP5 or greater??

Has anyone been able to get an MS FF wheel running in NT4 SP5 or >? I would completely switch my system over to NT4. 0 instead of a dual boot if I could get this going. I can run GPL in NT4 now, but without the wheel,.

I'd love to run Q3test in SMP mode under NT, but 1-win2k isn't gonna work with smp q3 (crashes). ? = Is there any Ps2rate program, or way to get my USB mouse working? the standard ps2 frequency is too low and those frames/sec I get are wasted on crappy mouse port polling.

win2k RC1 and dhcp servers

Hi, does anyone know of any problems that exist with RC1 and DHCP servers, because i currently am unable to get an ip from my isp, i'm on cable. I have to manually enter all the info. I've heard that dhcp doesn't work with non-microsft servers, true or not? Thanks.

I have tried installing the 3dfx banshee driver using the inf. Not much luck as far as getting glide games to work. I checked the versions numbers of the files I used and compared it the readme file and they don't match.

unable to move in JEDI KNIGHT under Win NT4

ok, followed the instructions in the games/j page, used setdx6 and jknt4. I can load the game fine, but once i enter any level and try to move around with keyboard or mouse, nothing happens. only ESC seems to work.

Is there a PS2rate program for NT 4? I remember seeing in the readme for the win9x version that there might have been plans for a port. Anyone know? I could use a smoother mouse for quake in NT (is there any USB support in NT4?).

Scanjet 5p + symbios 53416 SCSI + w2k = BSOD

BSOD = Blue screen of death I've got a HP Scanjet 5p that came bundled with a symbios 53416 ISA SCSI card. Unfortunately I get the BSOD on boot up of w2k with the SCSI card plugged in. I don't suppose anyone has got these two working, or could maybe recommend a cheap SCSI card as an alternative? Regards John.
