In task manager when trying to end a process I get the access denied error, even though I am the administrator. Ive tried using the adminstrator ( default ) account but no use same error. All of my users have the same problem. I can end any process which I have started and I can also end explorer.exe and taskmgr.exe but nothing else which is already present.

Also, wdfmgr.exe is for ?? Ive stopped all services and startup item and the process is still present. I am unable to stop it either.

Thanks

If you really want to stop a process go into the services section, go start, control panel, performance and maintenance, administrative tools, services.
For a listing of which you can turn off or disable or set to manual, go to Major Geeks hosting of Black Vipers work.

The wdfmgr.exe process is provides WDF (Windows Driver Foundation) compatibility to your computer. WDF is a technology that was developed by Microsoft to increase the overall stability of Windows device drivers. It is a core part of your operating system, and should be left running unless it is causing problems for your system.

wdfmgr.exe is flagged as a system process and does not appear to be a security risk. However, removing WDF Manager may adversly impact your system.
