Ati tv wonder pro A/V sync

Hello, I am knew here and have already searched the boards but I have not found any answers to this topic. I have just installed the card a few days ago and it seems to work good with one exception, It does not sync the audio and the video, well it does at first but the further the video goes the more it gets off.

Hello, I am knew here and have already searched the boards but I have not found any answers to this topic.

I have just installed the card a few days ago and it seems to work good with one exception, It does not sync the audio and the video, well it does at first but the further the video goes the more it gets off. I have a 3ghz p4 with over a gig of ram so I would think that I have plenty of "puter power"
Any help would be great and if you would like more info on my puter or any thing , just ask. Thanks

Almost for got, I'm running XP home Edition SP2

I'm having the identical issue. I'm running an AMD 3200+ with a gig of ram. I can get 10, maybe 15 minutes tops of sync, but after that, it looks like a chinesse dubded movie.

Have you run the tests on the PC Check tab in the ATI Multimedia Center configuration, if you're using it. One of tests will check the stability of the clock on your sound card to see whether it is stable enough to keep the audio and video in sync.

BTW, what sound card do you have?

ATI's support site has a couple of articles on similar problems.

Do the audio and video always get out of sync or is it only sometimes? Are you using the computer at the same time as using the TV wonder?
