Killer Loop + 3dfx probs

Has anybody gotten Killer Loop to work under Win2k final using 3dfx mode? I am using a Voodoo 3 3000 with Toste's drivers. When the program is run in 3dfx mode it goes through all the intro stuff, then it enters 3dfx mode by showing that 3d 3dfx logo.

Win2k + Millenium G200 + Quake 3 Arena

Has anyone had any problems running quake 3 areana with their matrox g200 in win2k? I am using verison 5 off the beta win2k drivers. It loads up fine and finds the openGL driver, but when I get to the menu it always shows the main menu no matter what I click on, and it flickers a lot.

refresh rates in games

under win98 i changed the refresh rates on all modes (800x600, 1024x768) to 100hz just by setting it correct on the desktop. now, under win2k, i can't do that. no matter what refresh rate i set in the desktop, as soon as it starts up a game (i.

Hearts game from somewhere

Sorry for not remembering where I got the game, its at home and I am at work but there is a Hearts game that states it will work in W2k, IT DOESNT. After installing it, my machine just rebooted, over and over, even when trying to get into safe mode.

Anybody else having problems with their Geforce+Win2K+System Shock 2? I'm using the new 2. 75 drivers, but it really doesn't matter what drivers I use, once it hits the direct 3d portion (ie. the actual game) it locks up.

Can only run Quake3 on W2K

I can only run Quake 3 Arena on my German Windows 2000 Prof. Build 2195. This is the only game that work. All other Games dont run (AOE2, F1 Racing Simulation etc. ). I have a Geforce Card form Asus.

Battlezone II and Grand Theft Auto 2

Grand Theft Auto 2 and Battlezone II are both giving me the same error on startup where no suitable video card can be found. After clicking OK at this message both games simply exit and do not start.

Nvidia's TNT2 Detonator Drivers

Does anyone know if any versions of the TNT2 Detonator drivers pass the dxdiag D3D test?? Mine says Failure on Step 18. If you don't know how to test yours, go to start->run and type dxdiag and hit enter.

Has anyone had any luck with Rogue Spear in Windows 2000 with a TNT2??? The game forces software mode, thereby messing up all the colors and totally eliminating the transparecy effect for all objects.

Can I Upgrade from DX7 to DX7a

Does anyone know how to upgrade DirectX7 to version 7a. When I try to Install DirectX 7a on Win2k, it gives me a Win95/98 only error. Are there any ways around this? Cheers Andy.

V3/W2K- SMP/Q3A/ - What the hell am I doing wrong???

I have been trying unsuccessfully to get Q3A to run with R_SMP 1 under W2K and have been failing miserably. Even time it seems to load, then I get a gray screen with the cursor being an hour glass. I've installed the latest V3 drivers and Q3 point release with no help.

Wierd distorted sound problem in Q3A!?!??! Just bought me a fresh copy of Q3A. The sound is messed up. It's like a loud humming vibrating noise. When I walk around in the game, it gets worse. When I fire, it gets worse too.

This web page says that star wars pod racer works fine under windows 2000. Well, it doesnt for me. Direct 3d hardware not found. Then I looked at this webpage again. Works fine with d3d fix. I need this fix, since all of my d3d games are crippled right now.

I'm having problems with Starcraft/Broodwar running properly on a LAN. I manually set the IPX/SPX frametype to 802. 3. I've got two Win98SE clients and one iMac, playing Multiplayer LAN StarCrack using IPX was not a problem with NT 4.

Got P3-500, 128MB, Voodoo 2000, Windows2000 (2195) running Opposing Forces at resolutions 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768. I have not updated Opposing Forces to the latest one. It is version 1. 00. 05 or something.

i have a problem playing madden 2000 in win2k 2195. the game installs fine and actually starts up fine. but the game becomes jittery and pauses for split seconds. i have a sidewinder gamepad and win2k detects just fine, but madden detects my js as a gravis pad pro.
