I am on an IPX LAN at college and I am running Windows 2000 Professional 2195. I know how to set everything up to post shared folders on the network and be seen on the network, however, anybody who tries to access my shares remotely is prompted for a password.

"mod-numknown == max_models" What does this mean

mod-numknown max_models What does this mean in Opposing Forces? I get this error when usually I attempt a Loading. . . message in Opposing Forces. Sometimes, it pops up, the other times it sucessfully loads the game on to the next episode.

Tiberian Sun won't run - Help!!!

Am I the only one who can't get TibSun to run? I get kicked right back to the desktop with an error message Failed to Initialize - Please reinstall Tiberian Sun Newest patch, newest drivers, W2k 2195 RTM, other DirectX and OpenGL games run just fine.

I'm running win2k and finally was successful in installing the Nvidia 3. 69 drivers for my non-ultra tnt2 card. But. . . the only issue I have now is that most of my games are SO dark (this was the case with previous TNT/TNT2 card drivers as well).

OK, like many others I have been constantly experimenting with Win2k and my Voodoo3. Somewhere along the way I collected like 3 different versions of the Voodoo3 drivers. I had Windows 2000 RC1 running with a Voodoo3 and Everquest was running perfectly.

Mouse issues w/ UT & Win2k

Anybody else seen this problem? I'm running Win2k Beta 3 (2183) on: P2 450 256MB Ram 10gig UDMA ATA\66 HD SB Live! Voodoo3 3000 Logitech Wheel Mouse and although UT runs sweeeeet(60 FPS at 1280x1024, high everything)sometimes my mouse buttons won't respond.

Voodoo2 problems in UT and Quake3

I am suffering from periodic lockups in UT and Quake3. The games will play fine for an hour or so then suddenly lock up hard and I will have to reboot. Nothing gets me out of this lockup not even Ctrl Alt Delete.

When you r playing a game in Hidden and Dangerous in win2k, how do u save. Cause i tryed pressing escape and then clicking on save, but the hard drive doesnt write anything, cause when i press escape again there is no load button to press.

FF8 Freezing up on tutorials

Hey has anyone had any problems with FF8 Retail freezing up when you get to a part where they run a tutorial to explain stuff? It freezes my keyboard and I have to press my reboot button. I'm not sure if this is Win2k or FF8's fault.

Tomb Raider 4 and NVIDIA 3.75

I had TR4 running with Nvidia 3. 69 and the patched exe as described on this page. Now I have a clean install of built 2195 and nvidia 3. 75 and the game + NT freeze all the time after seconds. Somebody else experienced this? Stefan.

Hey all I am having a problem to get Rogue Spear recognize my Banshee and not use software mode. The colors are really messy in the game, and even the mouse cursor is messed up in the game menus. Also, I would like to know if there is a way to install and use the Wicked MINI GL drivers under Win 2000 for Quake 2.
