gl quake and that dam mouse not working

evertime I click my mouse I get thrown out of game with a glquake error, can not even bind the mouse to work, I have a ms intel mouse. The mouse does not work at all in there. HELP !!!!!! thnx. .

I'd love to run Q3test in SMP mode under NT, but 1-win2k isn't gonna work with smp q3 (crashes). ? = Is there any Ps2rate program, or way to get my USB mouse working? the standard ps2 frequency is too low and those frames/sec I get are wasted on crappy mouse port polling.

unable to move in JEDI KNIGHT under Win NT4

ok, followed the instructions in the games/j page, used setdx6 and jknt4. I can load the game fine, but once i enter any level and try to move around with keyboard or mouse, nothing happens. only ESC seems to work.

I've got a couple of them. Is there a way to install the 95 drivers for TNT2, the NT drivers blow, no gamma, no control panel to tweek card, slower fps ect. If not, I read on here the nvidia NT5 beta drivers are the best?, where do I find those? If those aren't could someone tell me which ones are the best? If I in ...

NT 4.0, DX5 & Q3?

After reading about this beta directx5 for NT, I'm wondering if Quake3 will run better or run at all on my pc. I have a Dual 366@605 setup and a TNT2 ultra running nvidia's reference drivers. Any help is appreciated.

I've been buying quite a lot of games recently, and I can't help notice that the ones with copyprotection are the ones that has caused me the most trouble. . . (seems strange paying for a thing, and then it won't work because it thinks you've pirated it.

It says that Tiberian Sun works under 2000 but for some reason it just shows a white screen and it like freezes, but I can hear the sound. I have a voodoo2 video card but my main card is a riva 128. .

TNT 2 and refresh rate

Hi, I am using NT 4. 0 SP5, TNT2 set to 1024x768 at 85mhz, but whenever I play Quake 3 test, the refresh rate goes down to 60mhz, Q3T also set at 1024x768, it didn't matter at 640x480 refresh rate still at 60, any way i can set refresh rate in game?.

Hi, I have Windows NT5 Beta 2, which I am told comes with DirectX6/hardware acelleration. Unfortunatly Flight Sim98 complains about the system being NT, with no hardware acelleration available. I don't have Win2K as I figure why waste money when it'll be out in a few months.

OK System Shock 2 works! *note: it will not yet u install. the install will look for dx6. 1, but once install it works. Shogo plays fine. Ja2: works and installs fine. Working in NT 4. 0 (sp4+) works Bravehart: don't know about the install cause it was done in win98.

Descent3 & G400

Installed a new G400 dualhead card and Descent 3. Runs soooooo slowly that it is unusable. Downloaded the D3 demo 2. It installs. On the setup page, the DirectX tab shows that DirectX version is 3. 0, on the video tab no rendering device is listed.

I have instaled V2000 release3, then the voodoo2 accelerator, but when i try to play the games in d3d mode the card is not listed, there is only my ATI card (sucks). But the games in glide mode vork.

does anyone have any hacked, or beta (if any yet) icd drivers for windows 2000, for an ATI XPert 98 (rage pro chip). NT 4. 0 drivers do not install at all, even the inf installer is dead. i need better drivers for games, the direct3d under win2k is extreamy slow, and there is no opengl to speak of.

Asheron's Call Beta, win2000 and G200

Okay, so i got lucky enough to be chosen for Asheron's Call beta testing, phase2. . . I'm running Win2000 (RC1) and own a Millenium G200 board. The problem is that whenever i try to setup 3D acceleration for AC i get a message saying that 'This system doesn't have 3d capabilities'.
