Thief and Pure 3d 2

I snagged the pure 3d2 drivers for my Canopus video card. . . however Thief apparently doesn't recognize them. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a different driver that I can use and if so where can I find it?.

WWII Fighters under Win2k Workstation

It is listed as a compatable game under however, even with the latest patch (for the game and the NT 5 patch for my Voodoo 3 3000) the game doesn't start. It just doesn't respond. I used apcompat. exe to tell the game it was on a different version of Windows, but nailed me on the MSVCRT.

Thief--don't get any sound under Win2K

Thief runs fine under win2K, but there's no sound. I'm using Win2K Pro, build 2195 with the drivers that installed from the CD. Half-Life and most everything else I try has sound. Should I install those leaked Creative drivers? I've searched all these forums and the Thief forums to no avail on this.

Anyone have the problem under w2k where when in quake 3 if you turn on a3d you cant hear your self moving or firing, you can only some times hear the others firine if they fire at your. Amd k7 500 w/ 3dnow and mmx.

Anyone got problems with voodoo3 retail drivers for win2k

At first, the retail drivers seems to work. Now I almost always get a black screen when loading half-life, quake 3 or unreal tournament. Sometimes I can start the game, but if i try to change the player, controls or graphic driver then the black screen comes up again.

Q3 lighting

I cant seem to ajust the lighting properly in Q3. The slider in the graphics option menu moves in either direction all the way, but the lighting only ajusts a fraction of what it should. Anyone else run into this? I am using a GeForce DDR by guillemont.

Need help in Half-Life Win2k error....with value fix it!

Okay i have a problem in HL i get an error when i run a listen or deicated server it is some ipx server and i know if u put -ipx it lessons the number of times it happens in a dedicated server but in listen it just crashes! Do anyone know how to fix it but i think it is an error with value'z source!

PLEASE HELP!!! SOF DEMO PROBLEMS!

Please help me, anyone, for the problem I am experiencing is not so important in relation to actually being able to play SOF, but more importantly it might involve a problem with my computer. When I installed and ran SOF for the first time, it ran beautifully, and everything was the way it should be.

Im running win2k professional with 128 megs ram and a tnt2 ultra 32 mb video card, anyone else encountre problems running die hard trilogy 2? It will run the config, but when i try to run the game it immediately says an error log is being created but i cant find it

I wrote to info-games for the second time. The first was before official 3dfx drivers were present. I wrote them this morning and this is the response I got. - The game is not WIN2K compatible. No where on the box does it state so.

High Heat 2001 a no go

High Heat 2001 apparantly requires directx 7. 0a to run. This sucks because the demo worked so I haven't worried about making a win 98 partition. Has anyone found a way around this and is there any chance this can be fixed with an updated directx or patch?.

Running Carma2 under win2k

I know its an old game but i still play it =] The problem is; running it under Win2k Pro (Final ofcourse) will make the game show this popup: Sorry, Not Supported On Windows NT. I checked the list of compatible games and it should run ok.

DirectX has wiped off 1024*768 in all D3D games !!

I got some very strange problems since I've installed W2K pro with games. First, the refresh rates problems I've correct by tweaking the driver. Then, Quake3 who ran at 60 FPS yesterday night and today weirdly at 23.
