Hi. I have installed win2k many times but allways gone back to win98 due to the lack of drivers for some of my hardware. The thing I have been pleased with is the performance in UT in D3D on a GeForce.

Can ANYONE please tell me how to install Quake 1 on W2K. . . I have 1. 06 Quake CD and when I try to install it,says DOS WILL NOT RUN ON NT!!! I read of ppl playing it in this fourm and saying it runs great I really miss good ole Glquake sometimes.

soldier of fortune runs unplayable slow. the sound and video is extremely choppy in the intros. i have yet to actually play the game because i cant get passed the menus because its too choppy. my setup is: amd k6- III 450 viper v770 ultra w/ detonator 5.

Hello all, I know this is probably chicken feet but I need your help. I've just installed Win2k to dual=boot with Win98, and Q3 is too dark. I'm currently using a Riva TNT1 with NVDIA's 5. 14 Det drivers.

Has anyone been able to get Inside Drive 2000 working in W2k ?? THe game installs and runs ok but when it gets to the stage where it introduces the players, all i get is a black screen, even though i can here the sounds and commentators introducing everyone ?? The same problem occurs in both Software & D3D

Hey all. I have tried everything, and nothing works. I have installed full version, ISO, all patches, all cracks, deleted gimme. dll, but still nothing works and its not that it gets in game and sits in login screen, it doesn't even go in the game.

By pressing two keys at once (eg. 'run' + 'jump'), one of them will get stuck until being pressed again. Accessability options have been uninstalled. does this problem occur in other games as well, and is there a solution? greets, tobe (^^.

I have noticed in the Compatibility section for games that someone has been able to install F/A 18 in WIN 2K by copying the apcompat file off of the WIN 2K CD into a temp directory on his hard drive.

Ive had the final release of win2k for awhile now and UT has worked like a dream in it. Last night though netmeeting crashed on my system and after a reboot i went to start UT. The game will only play in a window now even though I have the updated nvidia drivers.

cutting load time on unreal tournamnet

i don't know if everyone knows this, but you can seriously cut the load time of ut by modifying the unreal tournament. ini file This mod will stop the game from loading the intro and skip right to the black logo screen.

I recently installed Toca2 on my win2k box. I have an ATI Rage 128. When I start Toca2 up it does not run fully. First there was a problem with the menu reverting back to the setup menu, but this was fixed by editing the registry.
