Acer PrisaScan 320P

Has anybody gotten the Acer PrisaScan 320P (or any other parrallel port based acer scanner) to work in Win2000 yet? I've tried the Win2k-EPP drivers but it really doesn't work, contrary to what the Hardware Compatibility list shows.

BP6, dual Cel, cpu usage always on 50%???

Hello, a friend of mine has just recently bought the following: Abit BP6 motherboard 2 x 533Mhz Celeron 128 Mb ram pc100 1 x Ultra 66, 20GB IBM Harddrive. He has a problem: The cpu-usage meter is always on 50%, even after a clean installation, without any special drivers, no programs, games or utilities.

unfortunatly i have given up for now. . . the stupid graphics drivers kept me crashing like crazy in win2k. . . so i went back to 98 i have crashed much less, but oh my, how slow does win98 seem to win 2k.

epson stylus color 600

does anyone know how i can get my stylus color 600 working in win2000? epson doesn't have 2000 drivers for anything, and ntcompat doesn't say anything about the 600. thanks, Xyphoid.

Nvidia Tnt2 locking up & rebooting?

in the past weeks since I installed win2k pro my computer has been locking up and rebooting due to video drivers I have tryed many diff drivers (5. 14,3. 18 etc) anyone know the problem? System: Amd K7 600mhz 13 gig maxtor 6.

Explore My Computer is really SLOW

The first time I click explore My Computer it takes almost 45 seconds to do so. It wasn't this way before and I haven't changed any hardware nor drivers. Any thoughts? TIA Ned.

Sound stops working randomly? (SoundBlaster Live!)

Hi guys. I just recently installed a SB Live! Xgamer to replace my Vortex2 card in my bp6 dual box running W2K Pro retail running the latest driver from creative labs. I have noticed that after about 10 minutes of running either a game or WinAmp, the sound will just die (and leaving a low humming on).

poll on the SB Live 'popping' issue

are you using Digital or Analog speakers? i noticed with analog speakers, i got very distorted, 'popping' sound. plugging in the digital speakers seems to have resolved all of that. .

V3 3000 & Win2K D3D question..

anyone know how to disable the vsync (sync to monitor refresh rate) in Win2K Pro? I'm using Gary Petersons OC Util which allows you to disable Glide, but not D3D. Is there a registry line i can edit? or another util which will allow me to? any help would be appreciated.

does anyone know what the prices are going to be for the upcomming geforce 2? like, when it is released, does anyone know what companies will offer it right away, such as creative and guillemot, and what optionw will be on it, such as tv in/out and dvi.

Where are Logitech Drivers?

Does it not say in their FAQ that Logitech would be releasing windows 2000 drivers and software for its game devices upon the launch of windows 2000? Well, it's well past the launch and there is not even a sign of any beta drivers.

Assus P5A-B + TNT2 = Reboot ?

I have a problem. I have a Assus P5A-B whith a Guillemot Maxi Gamer Cougar (TNT2 32 Mo). This one is installing propertly but : 1) When you want to play whith D3D or other , it rebooting. 2) When you want to view an avi or mpg it rebooting.
