new fasttrak bios, drivers, utility

what can i say. . . before i couldnt install win2k AT ALL, i tried all workarounds out there, spent ages searching newgroups, messageboards, testing everything. . new bios, new drivers, new chapter. .

The Tv out on my video card...

ok, I installed win 2k everything works fine. . but I can't get my tv out to work I have a ATI 3D Rage PRO - I can't get it to work with my tv. . it worked fine with win 9x but how do I set it up with win 2k.

Under windows 2000 device manager it lists my universal serial bus controllers as an Intel 82371AB/EB PCI to USB Universal Bus Controller, but says: Your computer's system firmware does not include enough information to properly configure and use this device.

Intel PRO (CS430) USB Cam vs NON-PRO USB (CS330) Cam

It is important to note the difference between these two cameras. The twain drivers that drewsky hacked out are for the NON-PRO camera (although, they MAY work for the PRO as well - there are no drivers for the PRO version yet - I'm trying to hack some out right now).

Okay i have this problem that yesterday i upgraded to the latest detonator 5. 14 driver and i installed it and after reboot my comp would crash so i fixed it and tried 5. 13 and it didn't work then i went back to 3.

Problems with my win2k inst. on BP6

I've got a serious problem with my new BP6. Win2k pro. installation bluescreens when detecting devices. The error message is different every time, from SCSI. SYS and PCI. SYS error to ntoskrnl. exe saying IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR EQUAL.

Well, I've spent weeks scouring this board and various sites, as well as constant e-mails to (and from) Creative Labs tech support. However, for some unknown reason I could not get any sound from my rear speakers.

Plextor 8/4/32 CD-RW and DMA

I noticed that my Plextor doesn't use DMA-mode any more. I have enabled DMA from secondary IDE channel properties. It worked some time ago, but now it suddenly stopped. Any one got any ideas? I'm not sure if this happened after or before I upgraded Plextor's firmware to 1.

UDMA in Win2k not working: VIA MVP3

I have a A-Trend 5220 motherboard with VIA's MVP3 chipset. UDMA mode refuses to activate for the primary IDE channel in Windows 2000 Pro. Worked fine under WinNT & 98. Errors are reported in Event Viewer (ID's 5 & 11).

Ok. . two problems here. . first. . i have an old Memorex crw-1622. . . ive tried different burning software packeges but it all has the same problem, which is: The program will freeze at random times untill i open the cd drive bay.

Alright, for once this is a CD-RW question that doesn't have anything to do with burning CD's. My drive has worked fine for months now, but I decided to uninstall eazy cd creator 3. 5 to install 4. 0.

SCSI or Fasttrak66

Seems like I am having a problem with Fasttrak66. I have an onboard SCSI and a Fasttrak66 IDERAID card. It does not have the Fasttrak66 BIOS bootup screen at all when I enable onboard SCSI. But the Fasttrak66 BIOS screen does appear if I disable SCSI onboard.
