Will Canon ever make drivers. I called them up and e-mail them. They told me No Canon isn't making drivers for that printer. Does anyone now a walk around or anything?.

Is it just me, or are other people highly irritated that you have to reboot to enable video out and reboot to change back to your monitor? I mean, video-out is for playing games and stuff, its not really for your desktop.

Hollywood + DXR3 + w2k = AC3 problems

I installed the hollywood+ beta drivers, the nt4 drivers, then the applications (DVDstation and Encore player). On both the DVDstation and Encore player, my AC3 is screwed. Out of synch by a fraction of a second, on ALL my movies.

I have WinNT sp6 PIII 800Mhz (dell) and a SB Live card running a 3D Prophet DDR card. My problem is when I run Half-Life in OpenGL-default mode it crashes after about a minute(needs power off) with the sound in a repeated loop.

I'm now on my second install (thanks Toby) which is working fine. One problem has reared it's head: I can't set my computer onto standby and when I shut down, just after Windows disappears, the kernel crashes, so my PC doesn't power down.

I have a Canon CanoScan FB310 scanner. I downloaded the new Win2k drivers for it, and the installation goes great and so on, but when i try to start scanner loading program, i get an error message saying: 0x2 and nothing more.

NT4 w2k comparison

After upgrading (caugh) to w2k from NT4 sp6 I ran a couple of bench marks. I have not changed any of the settings, disks are set to dma all round. The hardware setup did not change. everything got slower (especially the disk mark nearly 50% slower) have a look at the clibench comparison below.

Hey guys, I just installed an MSI BX Master mobo and can't get WIN2K to boot while on the UDMA66 controller. My system is dual boot with WIN98 and WIN2K (on seperate partitions). WIN98 will boot just fine.

I just swapped a regular Celeron 466 o'clocked to 567 MHz for a Celeron2 566 o'clocked to 705 MHz on my secondary machine (MSI 6163 Pro slot 1 mboard, GeForce SDR). It is a dual boot Win2k/Win98 setup.
