W2K / Razor mouse driver issue -Help!

I try to run the latest exe file and it says corupt cabinet file! (this is the one with 2000 support -and I tried 2 versions of it. What in the world do I do with this? I ran it on my other w2k server and recieved the same messege.

Gamma / Brightness issues w/ Guill. ddr-dvi under w2k?

I had this prob with this card running w98se but at least I had a gamma / brightness adjustment. . . There doesn't seem to be one included with the Guillemot w2k drivers -any thing out there I can get to adjust it on the fly? My games are WAY too dark! phosphor Located in the midwest? Changing drive letters on LS-120 drive

How do you change a drive letter on a LS 120 drive. It says B drive at the moment but I want to say A drive, cos I just got rid of the 1. 44mb drive. Disk manager can't view the drive and device manager can't change it, unlike in Win 98.

Voodoo 3 Beta drivers from 06/09/00 don't work...

I download thia drivers for win2k as i have problem with my voodoo 3 on my win2k and i want to install it (This is the leaked drivers for win2k). He told me to uninstall my current drivers and i did so, then i want to install them and while install he told me that there is a missing INF and that install will abort now.

my friend was thinking of o/c his tyan 100, but the 100mhz memory fails. . . just wondering if anyone has tried 133 mhz ram on it, and if so what kind has worked. . . also are there any dual bx440's that can accept 133mhz ram.

Overclocking Question

I have a Abit KA7 MB with a Athlon 800. When I go into the Softmenu to try and overclock it to 840Mhz 105 x 8, it will start to load Windows 2000, then reboot. Is there a trick to overclocking? What do I need to do.

Wheel not working on mouse

I was running W2k on my old PII-400 with my mouse working fine, wheel and all. Now when I went to my Athlon 800, I formated and reinstalled Windows 2000. The mouse works, but the wheel doesn't. I checked the mouse properties and have it set to Assume Wheel is Present.

Ok - it's been a few weeks now and I'm getting a little pissy with haveing to use a V3 3000 I decided to go for it - Bought an Athlon, a Gigabyte 7ixe m/b and a Ge Force 256. Much quicker, but also much more unstable.

In windows 2k the print speeds are very bad due to the fact the print head sweeps accross the page every other second, I tried the latest 2k drivers and they dodn't help one bit so I went back to Windows 98 where the printer works perfectly.

My sony writer (IDE) is being a weird tosser. . It works fine with Nero 4 / 5 but when i start up CDrwin I get an error: Unable to initialize ASPI manager. ASPI manager not installed. Uhm how to fix this?.

what gives? the card works great on the machine. . . but i can't access all of the other features it has. i can't controll the volume for the bass and treble seperatly. . and i can't even install latest drivers becuase i can't find any! can anyone help? here's the deal.

As the subject says. Go get it at The new one clocks the core and RAM down to the reference 200MHz/333MHz speeds. Come to think of it, maybe the lower core speed may help me in my video lockups? Let's see if that's true for me.

Hi, Anyone know what's up with Aureal? I've been waiting for new Win2k drivers for vortex2 soundcards for a while now. . . because sounds halt suddenly in Win2k. . and I ALWAYS have to refresh the drivers through device manager.

FPS in Quake on new CPU

I just bought an Athlon 800 and Abit KA7 MB. But when I run Q3 in 640x480, fastest setting with all game options turned off, I only get 63 FPS. Is this good, or sound to low? BTW, I have a Creative Blaster TNT 16MB video card and 196MB of RAM.

Creative Webcam 3 Poor image quality.

Hi there, I just installed the win2k drivers for this webcam and it works just fine. My problem is that I have a really poor image quality and I don't remember the image was this bad under win98. Has anyone got the same problem ? Thanks.
