TNT, build2128, 3.53, DX7, but still no D3D!

I have build 2128, the dx7 patch, the 3. 53 detonator drivers, and a TNT card. I can run UT and unreal using the voodoo card and Opengl quakes great with the TNT. But when it comes to D3d, Nothing goes.

Im running a celeron 366 overclocked to 550 on a Abit BE6 Mobo w/ 64MB of ram(waiting for it to drop again. . . have faith, it will) a diamond viper 330 AGP Riva 128 video card and a SB64 Gold Sound card.

OK need a straight answer. I've decided not to kill 2000 completely /me bows for the chears. I have come across a copy of 2151, is it going to be much better than 2128?? EG will my sound blaster pci64 finally work properly, will my ISP give me an IP address?? Any other info is appreciated Thanks peeps.

Ok I know I have pasted a question about this already, but it's still no good. My SB PCI64 works fine and sounds great MOST of the time in 2128. Then after no specific time the sound totally dissapears.

I have just installed Win2000 release 2160 and my Asus Tnt2 installed with Win2k drivers but the problem is when I go to the directX page the D3D and AGP support are both greyed out. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get this working? Thanks.

Hello. I am having problems getting my 4416s to work. My scsi card is detected just fine and installed correctly. but the CDRW, isn't being detected at all. I was wondering if there is something I am suppose to be doing different to get it recoginized in win2k RC2? thanks in advance for your help.

ok. . . i dont have 2 cpus. . . so thats not the problem. . . i follow the instructions for installing sblive untill i try to install the setup. exe that i had to rename. The install shield gets to 100 then quits.

Hi Everyone, I'm trying to get both Voodoo 3 drivers and directx drivers installed on my Win 2k system. I've got RC2 Build 2128. It seems that I can have either Direct 3D or Glide and OpenGL working but not both at the same time.

I saw the post about FF VII & W2k. I have the same hw & sw as the post, except I have dual celeries, but after installing the game, & double-clicking the configurator, it hangs. Will the game have hardware support if you start playing the game right after installing it, without using the configurator? Is the FF7 v1.
