RC3 Set Back??

Yet to be posted to NTBeta, Microsoft is not expected to deem the new beta build of Windows 2000 Release Candidate 3 (RC3). Contrary to what was mentioned earlier by ********. Com, Microsoft has only decided to post another build for beta testing before RC3.

Hey if u got a tnt1 w/ win2k rc1+, and ur ADVNACED button located in SETTINGS tab under display properties works send me ur desk. cpl file which is located in x:\winnt\system32 it is a control panel extension file.

Logitech Quickcam Home USB problems (long...I need help)

I have W2K RC2 build 2128. 192MB ram, etc. I put the Quickcam CD in and it autoplays and generates an error file right away. Ok, so I run the setup. exe file and it starts installing. Now it asks me to plug in the camera, which causes W2K to start installing the camera drivers, etc.

ISDN Problems

I am having a problem using my ISDN device in Win2k. The ISDN TA is a Zyxel ISDN omni. net LCD. When I try to connect to my isp with both B-channels (128kbit), the connected tray icon shows that I am connected in 64kbps, although I have declared in the modem protocol that I want 128kbps and both channels enabled.

Voodoo Banshee trouble

I've just installed W2K RC2 a few days ago, but I can't get any of my games to work with Voodoo Banshee. I have tried the drivers from and the manual from this site plus the Voodoo3 drivers, but none of it works with my games.

Fellas no offense but if ur new to comptuers dont try to run software that isnt officially released or supported. I mean I hear the goofiest questions being asked sometimes, and ridiculous unfounded statements being made.

All-in-Wonder Pro & NetMeeting

I have several machines running RC2 with All-in-Wonder Pro video adapters. There seems to be no support for any of the AIW features except the display. I need to use NetMeeting. The device manager indicates the presence of WDM TV tuner, TV Audio, Video Audio Crossover Bar and Video Capture For AIW.

I have tried for about 6 hrs to install liveware 3. 0. No luck so far but I am not ready to give up. Should I install 2. 0 first? I am following SHS instructions but no luck. I am using build 2160, could this be the problem? Any help you could give me would be great.

Hello I ve got a great option in windows98 that is something like hibernation of my computer. A message appear and say me that mswin prepare my pc to sleep. As soon as i move the mouse the pc get up Problem is that i haven t got this option in windows2000 :'( If anyone could help me it will be fun.

Loading a hardware profile

Is there anyway to get 2k to forcefully load a hardware profile without it detecting hardware each boot? EG my modem will not work unless it's turned on at bootup, same for my printer. .

Liveware 3 install hangs at 100%

Ok, I am following SHS Liveware fix, I have finally renamed the setup. ex to setup. exe, now when I get to that part of the fix the install wizard goes to 100% and that is it. What am I doing wrong?.

I've got a Creative Ensoniq AudioPCI. Supposedly, Win2k supports it. Now, how do I get it to work properly? I want to have the specialized mixer that comes with the AudioPCI software, but also need DirectSound support.

Problem printing in Win2k

I just tried to print some CD Labels in Neato Mediaface and I got an error that I am out of memory and I may need to close some applications. I have 128 mb and I can print in wordpad and notepad. I even can print the same jpeg.

SHS or anyone, I have a problem when I try to rename the setup_ex file to setup. exe. when I double-click after the renaming is comes up with a error. . Also when you say in the beginning to (Run setup.
