Subject pretty much says everything, but they have a couple updates. One of which specifically increases the compatibility of games on Windows 2000. I guess, no matter how hard Microsoft tries, they still know it is a decent OS for gaming.

This has been a pain for me, I've been searching for drivers for my TNT card to be used for Windows 2000 but have been unable to find any. Are there any drivers available? I'd appreciate some help.

Thinking of Geforce switch, do new drivers support SMP?

All, Well, the answer 3DFX gave me was that they are concentrating on single processor right now and maybe in the future they will support SMP. This kind of bummed me out so now I am considering getting a geforce 256 DDR board.

Pretty Annoying Problem

EVERY application that isn't bundled with 2195 blue-screens on launch. You name it, Diablo, JBuilder3, Word/Excel/PowerPoint 2000, Halflife, etc. all bluescreen and reboot. What is going on? This has happened with NVIDIA's Det Drivers 3.

Cmon no support for legacy products. What about poor fools like me with Riva 128's, Do they want to buy me a new GeForce? Sure they have drivers for the TNT and GeForce but not the Riva, that just sucks.

I dont get it. according to some people official drivers for the voodoo2 were supposed to be available Jan 31st and some people said feb 17. What about the drivers that are not WHQL certified? Are they going to support Direct3d?? When are those supposed to be available???.

I have a Hitachi GD-2500 IDE DVDROM drive which performs exceedingly poorly in Windows 2000. When playing a dvd with the latest version of PowerDVD, roughly 50% of the frames are dropped and the sound is quite choppy.

FUNNY: 3Dfx - 16 vs. 32 bits color depth!!

Hahahaha! This is sooooo funny! Remember when 3Dfx insisted that 16 bits color depth would be enough by far when they started to promote the Voodoo3 cards? They also said there was no visible difference between 32bpp and a dithered 16bpp image.

Voodoo3-Win2K-Q3A-SMP don't work with new drivers

I downloaded and installed the new Win2K drivers for the Voodoo3 from 3DFX. Setting r_smp 1 still locks up Q3A for me. If anyone with a V3 and SMP gets Q3A to work in dual processor mode let us know.

Hey anyone notice that the voodoo3 retails werent digitally signed? I thought thats what they were at microsoft for. Anyways I dont care about that. The part that is funny is they basically took the beta drivers and renamed them to retail.

I must say my excitement died down extremly fast when i noticed the same damn symptoms as i had with ALL detonators except 3. 66 ! (ie - they give me a BSOD!). I run w2k pro (2195) and an ELSA Erazor III.
