Dual Monitors?

Has anyone gotten Dual Monitors to work? I tried it with my TNT2 and S3 Virge, I set my AGP as the primary display in the bios so my TNT2 would be primary. When I got into Win2k the device manager gave me an error with my S3 Virge card, code10 or something like that.

Windows2000 & Voodoo2 update

Voodoo2 on Friday to the general public for use in an as is capacity. These drivers will not be WHQL certified, but will be tested for compatibility by 3dfx. The Voodoo2 under Windows 2000 should be expected to behave as in a multimonitor configuration.

ACPI and Win2K on EpoxK7A?

I'm getting a new Athlon shortly, hopefully on the Epox K7A, and noticed that that mobo supports 'selected ACPI' functions. If I remember correctly, Win2k loves/needs a lot of good ACPI support to be happy.

For those having problems because of a previous install of Liveware3 a la A. Toste, I am pasting a post from the sblive ng on CL's server from a guy who said he was able to do it successfully. Your mileage may vary.

Need help for new w2k woodoo 3 retail drivers

I just installed new 3dfx retail drivers for woodoo 3 on w2k final pro and in 3dfx tweaks menu i cant accses d3d and video overlay selections, its simply like i dont have support for them, and dxdiag says d3d is enabled and working fine??? pls help if anyone can

MIDI Keyboard with Dell SBlive Drivers

I installed the Dell SBlive drivers and everything seems to be working, with the exception of my MIDI keyboard. Under Win98, I can open the Creative Keyboard app and use that to play music. Using these drivers under Win 2000, the Creative Keyboard app doesn't work with the keyboard.

Switching between Logitech mouse & trackball

I have both a Logitech mouse and a trackball next to me. I used to be able switch between them (unplug one and plug the other) as I needed. But after installing the Mouseware release from Logitech this is not working anymore.

Why did everyone wait

So why did all the manufactures wait until the release of Win2K before releasing their drivers. Has anyone else noticed how many new drivers have come out since the 18th, surly they could have released them earlier in anticipation of the release, its not as if the release date of Win2K has been a secret.

Modems and Win2k.

Does anybody know how to get 3Com modems up to the v90 standard in Win2k?. There are upgrades available from 3com but they specificaly point out Win3. 1/95/98 ONLY. Presumably NT and Win2k protocols are different somehow.

Im just curious because I saw someone posting the new pstrip in regards to win2k users at the voodooo3 messageboard at 3dfxgamers. Can you use pstrip in win2k with a voodoo3? I cant get it to run it reboots my computer as soon as I try to load it.

For all of you who have problems with TNT/TNT2 and your system crashes with any detonators above 3. 6x, try this link below: Those are the first drivers that show AGP as enabled and do not give me a BSOD (K_MODE exception in NV4_DISP.

Anyone noticed the lil creative TNT Scham?

I just downlaoded the supposed NEW Creative TNT drivers, only to find out that they were actually Det 3. 76. Wouldn't you think that they'd be using 3. 78, after all, it has been out since the 14th Feb?? HOWEVER, I think that these drivers will suport TV out, after reading through the setup files.

Hp 7200E and my printer

I have a HP 7200E that I couldn't get to work. I did find a work around to get it to work in Windows 2000, but now my printer won't work. Since it goes through the CDR, I figure that is were the problem is.
