DELL SBlive drivers & PowerDVD ??

Since I installed the DELL Sblive drivers (which seem to work just fine now) I don't get ANY sound when playing DVD's with PowerDVD 2. 55 (no directsound, no wave-out, and certainly no directsound 3d what I was hoping for).

I have tried the new drivers, but do they really work? I think there is a reason why Creative is still working on their drivers. I must admit, Dell got all the old programs to work, and all four speakers, but where the EAX? In no game I have tried does EAX work.

Error "ZipToA" ??? Help

Hello, I have a Iomega Zip 100 parallel drive and ever since I installed the new iomega software I keep getting a ZipToA error. It says it failed to load. I uninstalling the software and the drive, and I did the reg fix so i can get access to it, but I get getting the same problem.

SBlive! 1024 locks NT4 with Dual proccesors.

I have a dual P3 600/133Mhz and when i installed the sblive newest drivers that were suppose to fix the problem with intels p3 600mhz my nt4 sp6 keeps locking down the whole time. . . i dont know what to do anymore, please someone help?.

Abit BE6 clean install ACPI howto?

Allright, I had a clean install of windows 2000 and I have a BE6. For some reason it installs as a standered pc and doesn't install ACPI support. Now when I went to change it there where two options that looked right.

Dell's SBLive! drivers....

I did everything anyone told me. Install the drivers, then run setup. Install drivers, reboot. Use the special inf! EVERYTHING! Nothing works, durring Win2000 bootup, it just restarts before the logon dialog appears.

Newer SB Live! FIX

I have been hard at work at a newer. inf with more compatibility and functionality. It appears that Dell had taken Creatives drivers are erased some of the non-used part of the inf file to make it smaller.

But I guess I'm to picky. All of the fixes and bull**** that we are having to do just to have a half-ass OS are just not for me. I want all my hardware and software to work, not just half of it. Don't get me wrong W2K is great but I have just did my last install of it untill all the driver and program fixes are out.

When trying to install with the drivers off the disk I get The installation failed because a function driver was not specified fot this device. The the driver doesn't load. Does anyone have a work around for this? Any help would be appreciated.

Ok I have never used NT and I am about to install the final beta of windows 2000 on my system, looking at my specs does anyone see any problems? K6-2 450 128 megs sdram 8. 4 gig WD UDMA-33 HD FIC PA-2013 rev 2.

One more Question. Creative DVD Problem

Does anyone know of a place that has software to use with my Creative DVD dxr2 and encoder card. I would like to be able to watch DVDs/ The NT one screws up my computer. Again any help is appricated.

Black screen w/ Voodoo3 in half life

Whenever I open up Half Life I can usually get into a game for the first time using the retail win2k drivers for my Voodoo3, but then if i hit escape, and then come back into the game, the screen goes black again, although i can still hear sounds and am still in teh game.

Hibernation? Where'd it go?

When I first installed win2k I had hibernation. Then after I loaded all the drivers in for my stuff: SBlive, and Gullimont Geforce the hibernation disapeared. I don't know what happened. Here is what hardware I have.

surround with Dell SBLive liveware

is there anyway to get some sort of surround with the dell sblive liveware when playing dvd's?? i have tried powerdvd 2. 55 but there is still no option for four speaker output so i guess that dilby digital is impossible.

accessing NTFS partition

To cut a long story short, i have 2 drives: C is FAT with Win 95 installed, D: is NTFS with Win 2K installed. I lost all the information on my C: drive, which is also my boot drive, and can no longer boot to Win 2K or access my NTFS partition.
