BP6 + Win2k and Peltiers??

Because of win2k I know many of you are running bp6 boards and probably have peltiers on them. I am wonder what some of you have done to stop condensation? I have heard putting Vaseline to fill the gaps is one option.

w2k data corruption?

Anyone have problems with data corruption reading and writing files under windows 2000? ie: I copy a zip file from my C: to my D: (or any of the other partitions split across 2 drives), and the target zip will have CRC errors, where as the source file doesn't.

Bad Cluster when using Win 2K

I have a problem here but doesn't know whether it applies to everyone or just me. I found out that it seems like Windows 2000 marks bad clusters on my hard disk anyhow. I reformat my hard disk under unconditional format, it report no bad clusters.

AverMedia TV-Phone98, remote not working...!

I'm using AverMedias new Tv-Phone98 (/Capture98) beta-drivers, and my remote control doesn't work! It doesn't say anything in the readme about weather or not the remote should work, but all other limitations (such as the Text-TV being disabled) are mentioned.

Imation SuperDisk Parallel Port Version??

Hi, Yesterday I had a question on the Superdisk drive not working with Windows 2000. The drive name is Imation SuperDisk Parallel Port Version Its also made by shuttle technologhy. Tell me if they have drivers for this version.

Bad Cluster when using Win 2K

I have a problem, I think Win2K is marking my clusters as bad (which I think they are good clusters). I use unconditional format and it appears no bad cluster after that. After a fresh installation, the problem reappear again.

voodoo 3 driver error

Hard Drive error's

My system seems to be working fine but when I look at the event log there are several error's The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk1\DR1. (disk)(event 11) and A parity error was detected on \Device\Ide\IdePort0.

LAN IRC DCC Problems SOLVED!

For those of you who have been having problems with your clients being able to DCC outside of your network with 2k being the server, thanks to a little bit of research by Tangra, and some trail and error by myself and YuppieScum the problem has been licked!!.

SBLive joystick port not working in W2K

The joystick port of my SB Live is detected and installed correctly by W2K, but when I attach a joystick to it, and try to add it through control panel, it says my port is not working correctly. This happens both with the SB Live W2K basic driver and the beta drivers.

HP Pavilion 6535 compatability?

My wife has a HP Pavilion 6535 computer and I loaded Windows 2000 on it. Does anyone know where I could find updated drivers for her video card and her sound card? (I have went to the HP site but they are absolutely no help at all).

Anyone break the 24hr uptime barrier yet?

I've been running Win2K at home for several weeks now and still haven't broken the 24 hr uptime mark (though I got to 23. 5 recently). I'd say mean time between failure on Win2k is about 30 minutes. My computer at work (NT 4 SP6) has over 600 hours of continuous uptime now, and that's only because I had to shut it ...
