I'm using a 64K ISDN to dial my ISP. When I'm playing games over the internett I get a huge lag/packetloss every ~1min, and it lasts ~5 seconds. This is really annyoing, and it doesn't happen in Win98.

I have been using Windows 2000 Build 2195 for a few months now (without dual boot), and I just ordered PacBell DSL. I want to know if anyone who has PacBell DSL can get their modem to work with win2k (basically will i have to re-install win98).

ATI Rage Fury 32 Win2k Drivers

Has anyone tried the new ATI Rage Fury drivers for Win2k? I have installed them on two different machines and they bluescreened on reboot Both systems were identical hardware configurations except one had no sound card.

How do you recover from "blindness."

A problem I have frequently at home while playing games is that the screen will become garbled and unusable while everything else works. I assume this is becouse the DX7 video driver has failed somewhere.

anyone knows how to get the Mpeg DXr3 decoder board to work under win2k? The dvd drive runs fine, but i can't find drivers for the dxr3 card, only for the dxr2

Blue Screen of death HELP!!!!

Hello, When windows 2000 Advanced server starts up it get's to the starting services dialog box and then pops up with a blue screen of death that says KMODE_NOT_EXPECTED unable to handle and then dumps all physical memory to HD and then reboots over and over again.

Internet sharing with Win98 machines

I am having trouble sharing my cable internet connection. I have 2 nics in the server and sharing on the cable connection is enabled. The lan is functioning fine, I can see all the machines in net neighborhood and My net places.

I am getting this blue screen of death my win2000 starts up. it says KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED - UDNT. SYS then dumps all physical memory to the hd. I cant' get around it and need help. .

Asus Beta 2K driver (6600), no TV OUT?

I installed Asus 3. 76 Beta 1 6600 Driver yesterday but I couldn't get TV Out to work. Is this normal? The TV Tab is in the Display Properties, but it's grayed out. I just wanted to know if it's normal.

Sharp UX-1400 Multifunction, Any problems with Win2k pro? re

I noticed that when I ran the upgrade checker it said that the Sharp scanner was not compatible. does it mean the hardware or the software for it? If so any way to get it to work? I havent installed win2k yet but want to make sure my scanner will work when i do.

i always get the error driver_power_state_failure when i try to shut down my win2k or go into hibernate. i tried also a 'setup', but nothing has changed. i know that it's not there when i do a fresh install, just that i had win2k up for 10 days now, and i really dont remember what i did / install / whatever.

these are two hidden devices in device manager that are under the non plug and play drivers section that are related to the hollywood plus card I have. Has anyone had trouble with these drivers not starting correctly I try to manually start them, but they either have no effect or immediately make the system unstable.

Anybody been able to get this modem workin with Windows 2000? I can make it work with a serial cable, but with USB it's a no-go. It keeps trying to install it on COM 1, and also keeps asking for a disk.

Anyone having problems with openGL dropping back to software

Every once and awhile, when I got to play quake2 or 3 the openGL drivers respond very slowly. This is a geforce card running at. 2fps. HORRIBLE! I asked around and my friends say that the openGL drivers dropped back to software rendering instead of utilizing the geforce.

I think I fixed the problem by having two os at the same time. Win2000 and 98. I transfer the data from and to the sd in win 98 and continue working in 98 until they come out with drivers. .
