Software RAID Solution

Greetings, My current set up is as follows: Win2k Pro, Dual PIII 500, 128M RAM, one 6 gig HD and a 13 gigger. Currently, C Drive where win2k is installed is 6 gig's, half of the 13 gigger. D is a software RAID drive of 12 Gigs, the 6 that's left from the 12 and the other 6 gigger.

Similar bios for STB Velocity 4400

I was thinking; before buying a new Video card cause win2k doesn't like my present one (blank screen under win2k drivers) that I'd flash/kill the bios with a different companies bios. Anyone tried this, or know of a similar bios.

IRQ's in Win2k f

I have 2 NIC (same make & model)cards installed in a dual boot machine (Win98 & 2KP), it serves my other system. The IRQ's for the 2 NICs are different in 98, 11 & 9. But in 2K they are the same 9 & 9.

Banshee/Gamma Help!

A fresh/clean install of Win2k lets 3D games work on my Banshee, but 3d games have always been dark at default Gamma settings. After loading up Kool Smoky's Control Panel to adjust my gamma, 3D no longer works on the Banshee.

Hi, I have a questions on the Netgear FA310TX. It is very slow when I try to access the windows 98 machines(i have windows 2000 on two of four of them) the others have 98. And you can't access the 2000 from 98.

S3 Virge & Win2k Drivers?????!?!?!?!?!

Does my S3 Virge (which is a couple of years old) work with Windows 2000? 2d card: S3 Virge-DX/GX PCI (375/385) 3d card: Diamond Monster II (8MB) I know 3dfx makes drivers for my 3d card but what about my 2d card?????? Please someone answer my question and will be eternally grateful.

i have a STB TV PCI. there are no NT drivers for it. i tried the drivers sugest on NT Compatible, but then again I cant find a TV program anywhere to test out the card! I have an Athlon 650 on a k7 pro running a Geforce SDR card under win2k. I like mostly everyone else with a similar setup experience frequent lock-ups on the desktop. This is what I am trying now. I used the nv4_mini.

Computer freezes when screen saver kicks in

When I had a basic S3 3d video card (8megs)agp I never had this problem, since installing a voodoo 3 3000 agp, whenever the screen saver kicks in my computer will freeze completely. There is nothing I can do but reboot (and when I do I have boot up problems).

Crashing Prollemz

I was surprised that i ran win2k for 8 days straight without any problems. But lately, it would reboot and go into standby mode randomly. I disabled standby mode in the properties tab, but still I get random standby's and reboots.
