Problem with Chronos Video Shuttle 2.

I have one problem. Under win95/98 this card works perfectly. But under w2k thene no drivers for this card, but that doesn' t any matter. Because after I intalled a software, what comes my card I can watch a tv only in windowed.

Modem trouble in win2k

i put win2k on and it didnt find my modem so i have to get the drivers but i dont know what my modem is. i have got i TIME computer and it is the modem i got with the computer so if you know what modem it is or even beter if you tell me were to get the drivers from that would be great thanx very much sean.

Is there an easy way to become a ms beta tester.

I was wondering, and most likely a lot of other people were wondering if there is an easy way to become a microsoft beta tester. I know a lot of people would like to test Windows Me and Windows Whistler along with the up comming versions of direct x or internet explorers.

udma will not allow computer to start.

If i put my hadrives in udma mode, they will not allow windows to start, it just stops half way thru the startup screen. it only works in pio mode. now back in win 98 with this same mobo it worked. any suggestions on how to get it to work? Amd k7 500 w/ 3dnow and mmx.

Sound in DOS Games

In Windows 2000, how can i get sound to work in DOS Games, it says in the FAQS for NT Compatible's website, but the address to goto the site doesn't work. Anybody know how to solve this?.

bj2000 printer

okay lets try this again, a friend is having trouble installing a canon bj2000 printer in windows 2k. . . . has anyone else had any issues with this printer. . . . canon has released drivers for this printer and they dont seem to be doing the job ŖőĢǚΣ.

Win2K pro and 64 mb ram

I've got an AMD K6-2 with only 64mb an Win2K pro. Most games read constantly from de hd. I'm planning to get more memory, but Is there a way to improve performance untill I get more memory?.

MS Force Feedback Wheel

I am trying to use my wheel in Win2000. The autodetect finds it, but the brake pedal is flipped. When I push the brake it thinks its off and when my foot is off the brake it thinks its on. Anyone else have this problem?.

DELL'S Live!ware for Win2000 missplaces a file or two.

After installing Dell's Live!Ware for 2000 when the system boots back up I get a message saying that a file is missing for AudioHQ. When I search for that file it is in the directory for the card. Where can I find a listing of where the files are suppost to go or where can I move this file to, to make it work.

Pioneer dvd-rom dvd-104 - Win2000 driver

I read somewhere on this web page that this dvd player works Works fine provided you have an ASPI layer installed. Otherwise no DVD. Can somebody please explain what this means and how I install an ASPI layer? Thanks, David.

Scratchey glitchy sound.

With my monster mx300 as i have posted before, i have been recieving bad sound quality in windows 2000. a3d dosent work correctly eigher. when i start the comptuer, the start up sound is glitchy sounding.

Aiwa Tape Drive

I have an Aiwa TD-P10 parallel port tape drive. I was able to find a parallel port driver that works, it can find my drive, but I have no drivers. I tried selecting generic tape drive drivers, but they didn't work.

Well, I've come to the conclusion that Windows 2000 just isn't worth a damn. At least not if your primary concern is playing games or developing audio. There are just too many performance drawbacks. The only purpose win2k serves in my opinion is (shoddy) openGL development, business word processing, and server use/ ...
