Litestep Desktop Shell

I have seen some screenshots of the Litestep replacement shell for windows. It looks pretty good. I was interested in getting it, but i wanted to find out if anyone out there has had success with it in Windows 2k? Also which build or version would you recomend, since the litestep website lists several.

I have a problem posting some message on some forum in Win2K using IE5. 5 But, on that same forum, if I use Win 9x or WinME it works, What would be the problem here? What should I check in Win2K for resolve this problem? pleas help!.

What is the diff. from Win2k Server....Adv. Server?

Yes. . . what is the difference? Cause i installed Server just because I thought there was no OpenGl support in Adv. Server. . . but now i find out there is. . . . cause i play the occasional games! Just to see what im missing out of Adv.

i dont know how. . . . the thing is i managed to install the software for a logitech webcam on my win2k, and worked just fine , but i had a problem with my hd and had to start all over again now i cant do it again ,the software for my web cam doesnot even install.

Why is W2K not installing?

I've installed W2k about 15 times in under 24 hours-it never finishes installationalways stops somewhere in the registering components or in the saving settings. I've pulled all my cards, just using the Video now.

Everytime I start up apcompat, the program freezes up. The only thing I can do it close it and when I do that, then the selected executable runs the way it did before I started apcompat. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Comp.

My Pictures Folder under My Documents

If I save a picture under My Pictures, I'll have a little thumbnail display for each file (similar to ACDSee Browser). However, if I create a sub directory under My Pictures, it won't work anymore. Is this a bug in Win2k? On the other hand, I have WinME Beta installed and it seems to work okay in WinME.

Will Linux be the next big thing? i think so as the OS is an open source code and more and more people and computer vendors want it for its stability and reliablilitly. it's really annoying when some people have never heard of any other operating system apart from windows.

TCP/IP Stack Dies After Any Install or Reboot

Hi. . . Okay, I'm running SP1 (in upgrade fashion) and no matter what, if I install a program or reboot my PC, I can no longer connect to the internet. As long as I don't install anything, or reboot, it works fine.
