im kinda new to the ins and outs of win2k, can anyone point me to a good faq or site describing all the advanced features in all 3 available versions? by advanced i mean anything that wasnt in 9x versions, and a good faq going into technical detail.

Win98 + Win2k Build 2195 - Help needed!!

I have Win98 on C: with Win2k installed on another partition of the same hard disk which Win98 resides on. I can choose between Win98 or Win2k upon startup. But now I wish to remove Win2k, how do I accomplish this?.

help! this is driving me nutz! how do i get that annoying Windows 2000 Professional Evaluation copy, Build 2128 message off of my desktop? my guess is by editing the registry somewhere, but WHERE????!!!! I really like win2k, but I will not use it if I cant get that off my desktop?

The game Quake III Arena's official mapeditor has been released. But, my Voodoo2 doesn't work with it. As i understand it, i need a opengl driver for it, i tried one, but it didn't work. Would be glad if anyone who knows how to get it to work under Windows 2k would post a reply.

Slightly off topic but does the run as dialog box ONLY work for files called setup. exe or can i invoke it manually. Wondering as i never log is as admin and like to install stuff without relogging it (win2k lacks proper SU command) If run as can be invoked manually id appreciate someone telling me how.

Win2000 RC2 2128 sudden problem

No problems for many weeks until suddenly OutLook Express, which I use as a newsreader will not start! The splash screen show, but nothing else and it doesn't show in taskMan, however to get rid of splash I must reboot and at that time, Windows asks me if I want to close OutLook Express down!?! Any help appreaciated.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but have you seen the document button added to the Standard Button bar of IE? The one that has Discuss as it's text? Is Microsoft incorporating comment/review capabilities to IE? When you click on it, it asks for a Discussion Server.

Photoshop out of memory

I can't get photoshop 5. 0, 5. 02, or 5. 5 to work on my computer (win2k build 2195). It says: There is not enough memory (RAM) to launch photoshop. That's a photoshop message, not a windows one. I have 96MB RAM and 256MB swap (on another partition).
