Accelenation take a look at the Abit IT7 MAX2 Rev 2 motherboard

Over the summer we took a look at the IT7 MAX. This original board was based on the Intel i845E chipset. Being legacy free, the board had some trouble selling since it required a USB mouse and keyboard. Abit tried to rectify the problem by releasing the IT7 MAX2 which included Serial ATA and a couple of PS2 ports. Revision 2 of the board has now arrived and is based on the i845PE chipset. AOpen AX45-8X Max
AOpen has made a quite reasonable mainboard and it actually reminds me a lot like their Tube version. It is made in a nice black colour, which I personally like. Even though SiS doesn’t officially support DDR400, the mainboard does support but it comes at a price. If you want DDR400 support, the performance will drop considerably. So I would recommend waiting for a better solution for DDR400, but luckily DDR333 still runs well.
