Tech-PC has posted a Hitachi CML174SXW LCD Monitor review

This is probably the first LCD monitor that can truly be recommended for gamers due to its fast performance, yet non-gamers will similarly benefit during desktop use and for watching DVDs and video. It’s not just fast response times that are the key to this monitor getting high appraisal. Of course it’s fast, but the picture also has to look good and I feel that it excels in every department.

You won’t be disappointed.

When using my TV card, which gets its picture from a Sky Digital Box, the monitor was easily able to cope. This is the part I really liked, it dawned on me that what I have in front of me is not only a monitor, it was a space saving monitor. Not only did it display a PC image, it displayed a television image, meaning that for people stuck for space you can buy a TV Card for your computer and save an enormous amount of space. Take the size of a television and a monitor and compare that to the size of this TFT, quite a saving, I'm sure you'll agree.
